Artest apologized
I don't know about you guys but I like the fact that he apologized and that he's willing to be a professional and move on. I hope it lasts
Ron Artest sent an e-mail apology out to the Kings on Monday just one week after expressing regret over his decision not to opt out and enter free agency, according to The Sacramento Bee.
"I do apologize for being mistakenly frustrated with the Kings," Artest wrote in the e-mail. "It was a mistake that I made and I will move on from."
Apparently, Artest believed that remaining in Sacramento this season would give him the chance to sign a long-term, lucrative extension, but the team reportedly isn't interested in giving him that kind of contract.
"I had wrong info about extension options and it could have cost me a new deal," Artest wrote. "I was informed that the Kings had me in their long-term plans, so that's why I decided to stay in contract. I just wanted to show loyalty."
"However, when I spoke to the Kings, that was not an option and I grew frustrated with my decision immediately," he added.

This story is boring
I’m going to shoot myself and jump in the sliders alternate reality machine to see how many times this scenario plays out. Just do me a favor. Don’t oil the damn gate when the omnipotent one grants me passage back to this universe.
No mistakes in the tango, darling. Not like life. It's simple. That's what makes the tango so great. If you make a mistake, and get tangled, you tango on

And I just couldn’t put my finger on why.

That's an apology?
It sounds like a re-airing of his frustration, coupled with a magnanamous “but I’m just going to get on with my life even though they screwed me” thrown in.

This is the same e-mail
This is the same e-mail as yesterday, restated into a story for the paper. I think it’s odd to take that original message and turn it into an “apology.”
