How do the Kings figure in Elton Brand's flight of the Clippers? ClipsNation draws on some comments Brand made after the April 2007 game in which the tanking Kings destroyed the Clippers' playoff hopes by winning.

TV critic Rick Cushman of The Bee asserts that the awesomeness of Kings fans and Second Saturday are related. Brandon Jennings will play in Europe next season. For purely selfish reasons, I hope it drops his draft stock into the #12-15 range. So that the Blazers can deal to acquire the pick right in front of Sacramento and steal him. (I'm not bitter.)

The only thing I worry about as far as Zabian goes is the fact

that he couldn’t stick with the Supersonics when they were in complete rebuild mode with no true PG.

I think it is interesting that he compares Sprewell’s fame at the time of the choking incident to the level of fame currently experienced by Kevin Martin. If Kevin Martin were to attack Artest or something, do you think ESPN might recognize that he’s also a helluva player?

Seems like

The Kings may be one of the main winners in Brand’s decision to head east. Now both LAC and Oakland are significantly depleted without their stars. Perhaps this gives the kings a better shot at supreme mediocrity by acheiving the 8th seed next year. However for the years afterward it really seems to be more promising.

I might also add that Jessica Alba is a championship piece, if he thinks Ron is too, more power to him. ;p -Kfan in Korea
