Personally, I’m not going to bitch about my taxes. They pay for the military, firefighters, education, the police, roads, Social Security and the levies that ensure my house doesn’t flood. If my house DOES flood, National Flood Insurance I bought will replace it. If my bank goes under, the government protects my assets. Is the government perfect? Hell no. But I’m not going to constantly bitch and moan about how much I pay without recognizing all the things those taxes buy me.
