A good review of the off season so far. Mentions Singletary and Ewing as possibly being part of the Artest deal.

pretty fair analysis...

I think the analysis is pretty fair…interesting that they seem to like Greene slightly more than the Thompson pick, but that could be based on draft position and compensation. Very high on Bobby Brown which is nice to read. Hard to argue with the need to obtain a “wow” player… too bad they don’t seem to think we already have that person on the team and in development…

Nice analysis

Thanks for posting that Kfan, I think it was a good review. We may see it as somewhat short-sighted, but we’re also a bunch of homers a lot of the time.

With Thompson, Greene, and 2 1st-rounders in 2009...

The chances are now better that we can develop that ‘wow’ player in-house. I’m definitely excited about Thompson/Greene already – can’t wait for them to suit up.

I think the overall analysis

in saying that the Kings have a top of the rotation player in Martin, and lower rotation players, on the roster today is correct. I think saying that Thompson’s lowest ability may be as a role player may be short changing him, but I think that’s equally true of Garcia too. Salmons is too old to have much of a future beyond the next season or two with the Kings, and the next moment that Kenny Thomas or Shareef Abdur Rahim (assuming the Kings don’t get to medically retire him) that they can do so without hurting their bottom line they will do so. So, in other words, I agree with some of what was said, and I don’t entirely agree with what was said. My normal position, basically.

No mistakes in the tango, darling. Not like life. It's simple. That's what makes the tango so great. If you make a mistake, and get tangled, you tango on
