Dude's from LSU, what do you expect, Einstein?
The guy used his bulk (esp, in 2002) because the league let him: blame Stern and Co.. Nobody ever claimed he was smart. Could have been one of the best of all time, but lacked the work ethic. I admire his willingness to get into shape and play hard at Phoenix, even if they didn’t have time to jell. The stuff about Sacto couldn’t have been anything but marketing, but it did fuel a rivalry. Problem is, we dropped the ball hiring Musselman. We may forever begrudge the Lakers their 2002 title, but until the team equals them in the standings, so what.
