What's our Over/Under for Wins and Losses this Year?
I think the Magic Number is 35 with our Young team and the fact that we are building to make a run at a great free agent 2 years down the line. The fact the West is impossibly tough and we will be playing the full year with this roster instead of players coming in and out of our line up. The fact is we probably won't make the playoffs but that shouldn't change what we are building towards.

My prediction
34 +/-5. I think matching or beating last season’s total would be a huge success. 30 or under would be a bit of a disaster.

I'm thinking
anything under 30 would be bad or over 35 would rock so I agree with KFAN and the experts at ESPN. For me the interesting question is do we win more games the the dubs. After Monta’s motorcycle accident I’m guessing Kings +3.

My forte'... a gambling question!
Well, since Sportsbook.com does not have a line for the over/under, we can look at our odds to win the western conference compared to the rest of the divsion, and go from there. The Kings currently show a money line of +$5000,meaing that a $100 bet will return $5000,or 50:1 odds. Sadly that places the Kings tied for last along with the Grizzlies, T-Wolves, and should-be-Sonics. Every other team has better odds, with the Fakers having the best moneyline at +$140.
That being said, I bet the Vegas line will open with the over under at 30.5, which I think is too low. It will quickly probably start the season around 32.5, which still seems low to me, but I am an unappologizing Kings fan.
Finally, my guess. Vegas over/under = 32.5. My over/under = 37.5. (Of course, all of the above is based off of no preseason injuries or (cough, besides Brad) suspensions.
Wait....Why is everybody clapping? Everyone around me is clapping.... I guess I should be clapping too... GO LAKERS!!! I hate living in So Cal

Agreed
My gut reaction was also 37.5 for my personal over/under. I think your Vegas guess is probably pretty close too.

Unfortunately high
I love the kings, and I would love nothing more than to see them return to glory. That is why i will be rooting for them to be horridly bad this year. This team isn’t going to win anything any time soon, so in my opinion, they ought to be really bad, and get a better draft pick. unfortunately, i think they will win around 30 games this season. If you look at the team, there are four key differences from last season. The biggest, is the subtraction of Ron Artest. The others are the additions of Green, Thompson, and Jackson. Jackson fills need, as we were shallow at pg last year, but Thompson and Green come into heavily filled positions, so their contributions will be little more, if any. Last season the Kings went 8-17 without Ron Artest. That rate is good for a 26 win season. Account for a bit of development, and the addition of Jackson to solidify our pg spot, and that shouldbump us up a few games. Which is how I came up with 30.
The easiest, and most obvious way to deal with these excess wins, is to deal Brad Miller. We have a logjam in the frontcourt in the first place, and this should attain my goal of the team royally sucking. A trade of Miller for nothing and a draft pick would go a long way toward dumping us in the 20 win category.
HURRAY. Go Kings.

I"m going to go the safe route
And predict the Kings will win less than 82 games this season.

Less than 82 wins?
So you aren’t counting the playoffs…

Yes
I figured that would be too much to be Bill Simmons Jr at this stage of the game without the Internet or Cable TV at home.
