Self-serving mention of Ron Artest
Okay, this is totally self-serving and only peripherally related to the Kings. But hey, it's my 2 minutes of fame, so I'll take it. And the book is quite likely the only young adult fantasy novel to mention the recently departed Ron Artest. I did try to slip that in on the interview, but they cut it. If this embedded video doesn't work, I'll put a link in the next reply.
Okay so the embedded video won't embed, but you can see it here.
Unfortunately no appearance was made by the lovely LPA.
The video is on the right side.

Quite an accomplishment. Second only to netting the lovely and talented LPA, I assume. Well done.

Good job at slipping Ron Artest into the title of the post, too. You’re learning :)

Let me say congratulations as well
and add thanks for giving another face to the community I can MiscrosoftPaint onto embarassing bodies. As an expression of my gratitude, I will not do it on this page, as this is all about celebrating a great accomplishment. Best of Luck, and I’ll certainly pick it up when I see it.
Donte? Donte'! Donté?!?!

I knew there was a reason I wasn't going to post that here
If only they hadn’t cut out my 360 windmill jam and my multiple shake and bake moves. Then KingsTV could have made a recap video.

Are those some of your odd jobs?
Windmill jam cleaner? Shake and bake chef? Cause I know they aren’t your basketball moves. ;p

How late will The Beast be appearing?

You won't even to have miss work or go far from home
If that ain’t a “woohooo” I dunno what is.

As long as people are there to see him
Or closing time, whichever is later.
The goal? Bleary-eyed B&N employees begging people to go home at 2am.
The plan? Late brownie sundaes at Brookfields.

Bad news and good news
Well, due to some scheduling issues with several schools, it looks like we won’t be doing a signing in Roseville until late January. That’s the bad news. The good news is that we’ll be able to catch at least one Kings game in January. And the other good news is that if anyone is still free Thursday night, we’d still love to meet you for Sundaes at Brookfields. Dessert is on us.
