I don't know

I think the author was basing his analysis on the stat sheets. The Kings are finding ways to lose rather than ways to win. This is a case where the parts look better individually than the sum of the whole.

I did think that there were some reasons for encouragement last night, primarily JT’s last quarter run. JT got extended minutes last night and took advantage of his floor time. For a little while there he put the team on his back and brought us back to a point where we could have won. That was pretty sweet.

JT's turning into an all-star

And a top 3 record, are what may propel this team back into contention for a playoff spot quickly, as well as hopefully a championship down the road. You gotta have these bumps to get where you want to go.

Second half analysis faulty

If he thinks that we’ll be better in the second half, he obviously isn’t taking the possibility of trades into consideration. With the chance of Miller going for cap space and Salmons moving, the chances of the Kings winning 10 games in the 2nd half are obsurd.

Even if we could trade Salmons for someone like Boozer, the downgrade of talent at SF and Center make this team worse. And, I in not way anticipate the Kings getting anyone as talented as Boozer. The best case senario would be Miller & Moore to Miami for Marion, and Salmons, K9, & BJax to the Knicks for Marbury. Worst case would be that the Kings do nothing and trade no one.

11 wins = better

That may not happen, but it’s really not that much of a stretch.

Agreed

A healthy KM should lead to a somewhat better 2nd half record – almost no matter what else happens.

Pts do win some games.

The Griz seem to be falling apart, Okl seems to be getting better, will the Clips ever get healthy?

questions…..
