Draft Day(Dream)

It was brought up in another thread the value of Blake Griffin to OKC. As a local product and a low post player, he will be extremely attractive to the Thunder.

I then got to thinking if the ol' ping pong balls fell just right and we were to get the first pick and the Thunder the second, we would be in a position to really get value for the pick. I have listed a couple of scenariois below:

1. Keep the pick and take Griffin if he really is the best talent (and measures out at least 6'9")

2. Swap the pick with OKC for the 2nd pick and Jeff Green, select Rubio

3. Swap the pick and Beno for Russell Westbrook  and the 2nd pick, select Hasheem Thabeet, Greg Monroe or Jordan Hill.

I personally like the last scenario (as I'm not sold on Rubio), and would pick Thabeet. It would give us a rising young star that is athletic and can defend at the 1 and a 7' 3" backstop at the 5. I don't think Thabeet will ever be a star, but he seems like the second coming of Samuel Dalembert (and an athletic center that rebounds and defends isn't the worst thing in the world).

Which deal would you prefer?
