The NBA hates us right? What kind of roadtrip is this? Kings just played like 16 hours ago, Toronto is cold as hell, and they went through a time zone change in less than a day. Doesn’t Stern know that he has to help the bad teams? Jezzz…!!!

Every team gets a crappy road trip
This doesn’t compare the one they did right up until the All-Star break in 01-02 season. 6 games in 8 nights. Seattle, home vs Denver, at Minnesota (in the afternoon), then to New Jersey 30 hours later, Boston 48 hours, and Washington less than 24 hours after that. I’m still amazed that team went 4-2.

The good guys
aren’t going to make every shot (on 6 passes getting an assist), never turn it over, and never miss a free throw.
The offense has been really good so far, lots of sharing, getting 80%+ very good shots. Rebounding wise we’re holding our own it seems like.
The defense is still troubling, but hasn’t been bad.
Relax, and let’s see if we can slow them down while maintaining this efficiency.

miller was okay, JT was solid again
but Jt was quite tentative in the 2nd half. didn;t shoot much really

We really need a big man that can play defense
I like JT and in a few years he may be that guy but I am not sure the city of Sacramento is going to be that patient. Can we trade the whole team for Bosh. He is exactly what the team needs in addition to a solid PG. Beno however has been playing better. How about Camby trade to solve the problem short term while providing instruction to Hawes and JT for the future.

There are fans here who post around the world about this team. Not all of them live in Sacramento. I realize you mean the fan base, but that’s my point. Not all of it is located in Sacramento proper, or the county, or 5 counties. Fan bases of teams are global. Even if Sports 1140 won’t necessarily acknowledge that, unless to say it’s amazing how many Kings fans there are other places. Blah blah blah at that.

The league’s biggest revenue source is from national TV games, and that, is something that naturally I, as a Seattle Kings fan, can always do better than you can, as I ALWAYS will get those games.
I am willing to bet that 90% of this blog does not currently live in Sacramento city, and hasn’t in the last 5 years. Maybe not 90. Maybe 80. But that’s not the point. Sacramento is the centerpiece of the region, and as such has to take the mantle for the small suburbs like Elk Grove, Davis, Roseville, Citrus Heights, Rancho Cordova and places as such.
I don’t know how to express how irritated a comment that says “we fill up Arco Arena so we’re more important than you.” When did Kings fans become such snobs?

I’m not bagging on you or fans outside the city of Sacramento. The post referenced our need for a defensive minded PF. Next time rather than say Sacramento I will use the term “Universe” so we can get back to basketball.

It was about the “city of Sacramento” not being patient waiting for JT to grow up defensively.
All Kings fans live in the City of Sacramento? No. Do all ticket holders live in the city? No, obviously not. Therefore, why I said what I did. How we choose our words here is how we can be judged for the context of our opinions.
That being said, fans are impatient. If the franchise determines what the fans expect to be what they should do, then I suppose the franchise will just get worse.
