OMG, They Played Kenny
In terms of getting the most bang for the buck, Thomas might be the absolute worst value in the NBA.

What was funny
Was that Chris Sheridan spent so much space talking about Kenny, and I thought that was absoutely incredible. (A Kenny Thomas trade to Charlotte does make a little sense. Especially if LB wants him. More so because it gives the Bob’s a chance to get away from a bad player like Morrison, or a disappointment, in May. If the Kings turned that type of deal down, they’re crazy. Do it Petrie! Do it!)
No mistakes in the tango, darling. Not like life. It's simple. That's what makes the tango so great. If you make a mistake, and get tangled, you tango on

Also
Sheridan mentions that New York might be willing to trade Thomas/Miller for Marbury straight up, which is a player I don’t personally want, but it would be nice for the Kings to actually have real cap room this summer to work with too, along with a high draft pick……
Oh the possibilities, they are a comin….

Another deal
I propose
Miller
Thomas
Douby
Houston’s #1 pick
For
Marbury
New York’s #1 pick
Now honestly, I don’t see why the Knicks even do the original deal. Kenny could play D’Antoni’s style, but Brad is too old, slow and apathetic to play an up and down game. Don’t tell them I said that.
I like this deal because we get an enormous salary dump and a lottery pick. It might then be possible to parlay our top 5 pick and the Knicks lottery pick into a top 2 selection.

Won't work
New York doesn’t have enough roster spots unless they waive a player. Well, I take that back, they might do that.

Kevin Martin sets his first NBA record
If you look at the second section of Sheridan’s article he talks about how Kevin Martin became the highest scoring 2-game bench player since the NBA and ABA merged. Record number one.

Nothing wrong with records, right?

Nope.
Let’s just hope it’s his first of many

Hard to argue with that one
I’m just hoping the records don’t come in another season where there was a top 3 pick in the draft.
