Fatalism Denied: Tyreke Evans Scrimmaged Wednesday Night
Not only was the MRI on Tyreke Evans's knee negative, but Too Easy felt well enough to scrimmage Wednesday night. And according to Sam Amick, Evans looked good.
File this one in the Cabinet of Hope in the back of your mind. It's not always bad!

Oh Tyreke will not be short on nicknames
Lot’s of good news today. It’s good to be the Kings!

You, Kfan in Korea...

I believe is the correct reply.

Watch at least the first 1:30.

I would love to see these scrimmages...
If Tyreke was taking apart the other quality PGs in the pre-draft scrimmages, he must be completely dominating Beno.
One thing I kept thinking whenever anyone of the Kings staff would say that Tyreke outplayed the other PGs 1on1 is: Of all the positions-isn’t being better 1on1 the least important for a PG? I guess it’s always good to be able to get by your man—whether to deliver a pass or to score.
I wonder if Tyreke is already a better passer than Beno. He is surely a better defender, even though I think he is getting too much credit too soon on that front. Day 1 start…? Does he really just have to outplay Beno in camp to get the job? Does Westphal have a Bochian boner for vets?
And thank goodness for a healthy knee.
Is Beno there?
I don’t think Beno is in Sacramento yet. And EVERYONE dominates Beno, so I’m not sure that’s what we should measure.
It should have some influence
on whether he starts though, right? Isn’t that what I wrote up there?
If Beno starts
And Tyreke is healthy, I’ll be the first guy to call for Westphal’s head. I know the coach wants Evans to “earn” the spot, blah, blah, blah, but if you don’t replace the worst starting point guard in the NBA with a potential star at the earliest opportunity, you’re an idiot.
Beno is in Sac
Not sure whether he’s playing, though. But he’s in town.

I think
he’s not playing because he has so much to do with blaming other people

Go Kings!
FWIW
A team consisting of SERGIO!, Martin, Mason, Thompson and May reportedly swept the scrimmages last night. And ’Reke did scrimmage.
So the team with 4 players that have played more than 3 years of Pro basketball
beat the other team? Shocking. Honestly though, I don’t think we’re going to be THAT bad this year, and Mason might actually end up being a good addition.

Hmm
Reke, Garcia, Donte, Bron, Hawes perhaps was the other team?

Not sure
There are probably three teams — it wasn’t clear who else was teamed up together, though I imagine Hawes and Mancakes were together since Ely has a tweaked knee (or ankle) and K-9 hasn’t been mentioned …
who is Bron? who is Mancakes? Who is Ely?
Am I on the right site?

You have crossed the line, sir. As a Sacramento Kings I refuse to give up my right to be fatalistic.
Not now, not this season, maybe not ever, unless, of course, the sky falls in.
and I am always looking….
