Lakers present a big matchup problem for us.

In basically every area except PG.

If it were me, I would put Evans on Artest, Mason on Kobe, and Martin on Fisher. I don’t want to waste possibly our best defender in Evans, on LA’s worst offensive threat in Fisher.

...a big matchup problem for

every other team in basketball.

“someone you can rely on on both ends of the floor”…truly refreshing.

Artest is too big for Evans

he’ll just back him down, shot over him or take him into the post. Besides we have more fouls to give at the SF position than at PG.

Mason, Noc, Greene & Omri on Artest,& Martin on Fisher. Evans is looking forward to going against Kobe. It’s a test for him. All he has to do is stay in front of him and don’t let him penetrate. Make Kobe a jumpshooter, and not only do you take away his inside game but he stops being a playmaker.

Yep

I would like to see Noc and Artest go at it. I know the Mancakes may be a bit slow, but would like to see Ron-ron try muscle that pancake fed stud around. Could get CHIPPY!

It's probably on KCAL 9

Or FSN West. That’s only if you live in LA though. (Which JC does.) If you’re in Sacramento, you’ll have to find a pirate stream to watch it.

No mistakes in the tango, darling. Not like life. Simple. That's what makes the tango so great. If you make a mistake, and get all tangled up, you just tango on.....

Maybe the they should run public service announcements- starring Francisco Garcia and Sean May (as the expected mother), warning of the dangers of big blue balls. -- JJham15 10/13/09

Are the Kings going to be on League Pass this year?

Of course

You can see the game tonight on a pirate stream. (Just go to the game thread, and folks will direct you.)

Pookey called it.

KCAL9. Peaches might be the worst, but Stu is right up there too. He does this thing where he starts improvising what a player’s internal monologue might be saying.

“And Bobby Jackson is saying, I can get to the hole whenever I want. You can’t stop me. No one can stop me. I like waffles. Why am I still talking? I don’t even know. This shtick has gotten really old. I bet people are tired of this…”

And so on.

Stu isn't that bad

You just hear him too often and your hatred of the Lakers clouds things.

I feel ya man...

Lakers announcers are so annoying. I think my least favorite is James Worthy on the post-game show. Sometimes I just want to give him a swift kick to the groin.

Not that anybody cares

But I really loved what PW had to say. Nothing greatly important, but it’s a steady thing to track in how he views this roster as we move forward.
