Hawes looks embarassing !!
I am really disappointed by the play of Hawes. No Defense at ALL! And offensively looks lost too. If Hawes doesn’t get better we are gonna stink. He looks like he hasn’t improved in any aspect of his game. He is still whining to the refs. Maybe his whining has improved… or got worse.. however you look at it.
p.s. thank you dj3ptspecialist44 very much for the link! I cant even get the game on the radio here in lincoln. Never thought I’d get to watch it on tv!! Lakers announcers suck, but it is still better than just audio!! Thanks again !!

We look good I know we can’t say too much about pre-season games, but we do look really good out there. Nice crisp ball movement and team work. Rebounding kinda sucks and so does interior D. That is killing us.

U aint playing defense. The team defense is really slow, and individually there are too many players getting broken down. I hope our defense improves, because the Lakers are just going thru the defense like it isnt there. If we play D like this all year, it is going to be a long long year. Defense starts from the middle out. Hawes just has to play better.

Mismatches aren't working
They just put Bynum on Thompson and Kobe on Reke. Martin and Hawes need to be able to post and take advantage of the smaller man in order for this line up to work.

When fans are continuously saying Hawes sucks, and they have in this thread, it is overreacting. This is the preseason, it doesn’t count. No one will remember it once the regular season starts. This is a warm up for the regular season. If someone doesn’t play well in the preseason, it does not matter. As long as they get it together by the regular season, who cares how a player does in the preseason?

The Kings are getting humiliated right now!
This team has ZERO inside game.
The Kings have to bring in a big.
This just hurts to watch.
I will continue to try and be optimistic. However, I hope the glaring problem down low gets addressed.
