Ime Udoka waived by Blazers

Blazers waived Udoka cause they're too deep and can't find him minutes. He was supposed to be the Spurs next Bruce Bowen - a defensively oriented SF who can hit 3pters. I think he would be a great value addition to our team, as his contract would be small and he would provide that much needed perimeter defensive specialist we require.

I would love to add this guy with the loss of Garcia. I also believe he will have some value near the deadline as a toss in with Noc/Thomas. I like giving Casspi the minutes but at the end of the day this team needs to give an honest, competitive effort night in and night out. Win or lose, this team needs fans, fans need to see close games- not ass whoopins’ by the opposition. I like what thie guy brings a lot more than Mason- consistent D and perimeter shooting from the three are a must if the Kings are going to start Evans game #1.

Kings won't do that for 2 reasons

There isn’t any minutes for him, and the Kings need an extra big up front if anything. Unless PW plans on playing Kenny Thomas.
