Around SBN: Sean Keeley's Week 12 College Football Buffet

In the pregame meeting prior to Game 6, the league office sent down word that certain calls-calls that would have benefitted the Lakers — were being missed by the referees. I believe it

It’s all about the greed

Eh, fark Donaghy

“Sure, I’ll take your filthy money, and alter the outcome of games, but I’ll make sure to blow the whistle on it years afterward when I can make some more money on it.”

Die, scumbag.

Yawn

Not buying into this one. Is there a source that has less credibility than Donaghy?

The Kings still coughed up game 7.

I'm not a conspiracy theorist by nature

But I believe that the NBA put pressure on Random House to quash the book, because whether or not his accounts of cheating are verifiable or accurate, it makes the league and Stern look bad.

The draft lottery has reinforced my belief that there are not enough bad words in the English language.

can you blame them?

this way it gets a negative story, one to two days of coverage and it is gone

I wish the NBA had let the book come out

I agree in principle,

but I am glad that this scumbag will not profit one cent from the sale of this book (at least for the time being).

Agreed

I don’t care if Donaghy gets his story out. I just think it’s fucked up he gets to make a profit.

One thing I noticed in the story

is the liaison between Donaghy and the media. He works for this company.

The world is a strange and sick place.

they laughed at José Conseco

I believe it

It’s so specific, i personally believe the general gist of the actions. Obviously he wants more money, but even if he’s embellishing, the crime still stands.

Screw you Knicks! LBJ to the Kings!!!
