Cal Expo extends NBA arena-plan Agreement
Cal Expo officials on Friday agreed to extend their formal agreement with the National Basketball Association to continue working on plans for a new fairgrounds and arena on Expo grounds.

At the very least,
this is not bad news. Cal Expo and the NBA continue to explore the opportunity, however realistic it may or may not be. Meanwhile, the Mayor continues to pursue his own ideas. Let’s hope that someone comes up with a tangible idea before it’s too late.
