bullshit call on JT

The second half is going great.
It could happen. Maybe the refs got replaced at halftime.
Rocks are free, and slingshots easily stolen.
that was a rough half
NOTHING went our way
"Are you tryin to say Jesus Christ can't hit a curveball?"
Enough of this anti-Martin crap
To pinpoint the blame on Martin as the main reason the Kings were losing is without any basis. 9 games is a REALLY small sample size, and obviously a bunch of you are jumping the gun way too soon.
Screw that
The fact that this team won 4 straight games without him is proof that they would have lost all four with him. It’s science man!

Gotta pick it up in the second half
Hopefully the refs review a couple of those calls at halftime and realize they are shitty.

The rotations by Westphal has been horrible so far. More Udoka, less K-9 and. Rodriguez.

I don't think it's a rotation issue
The Kings let Pargo score from the perimeter at will, and have given up at least half a dozen dunks. Not sure how that’s PW’s fault.
Rocks are free, and slingshots easily stolen.
Who exactly was guarding Pargo during that stretch?
Oh, it was the guy who doesn’t play any defense and usually sits on the bench. All night long, Westphal tried to match up to the Bulls line-ups instead of forcing them to match-up with his players. I would have loved to see a line-up of Evans, Casspi, Greene, Thompson and Hawes or even more of the starting five. Throughout the 2nd, 3rd and 4th, Westphal ran out the team of Rodriguez, Udoka, Thomas…. 3 guys who can’t score even when his team was down by double figures.
I really like Udoka but he can’t be on the floor for any length of time with other specialty players. Rodriguez had a short stint where he made some nice passes and another stretch where he made a few baskets but overall he dribbled way too much, made poor entry passes and played suspect D. Thomas is fine in short stints to play solid defense and rebound but again, he is a completely inept offensive player.
I am really behind Westphal and his coaches and they are certainly aloud to have bad games just like Thompson and Hawes can have bad games. I see the amazing growth in Casspi, Evans, Greene, Thompson, and Beno and as much as I am behind this staff, I see this as the 4th game out of 10 where the coaching staff played as big or bigger role in a loss as the players on the floor.
I’m not calling in the firing squad here, I’m just saying that IMO this loss and the first three games of the season have more to do with coaching than players.
No law when it comes to me.
I let you type critics write and I just keep it hood.
That will never change.

Yeah i was thinking the same thing
Paul was getting a little wild with the rotation at times. Though Sergio played pretty well.

I say we need Spencer Hawes
at least he is kind of a defensive presence, so let’s put him in the game.
Anyone see this?
With about 6:30 left to go in the 2nd, Jason Thompson is defending Brad Miller down low and just outside the key. Both are planted and all of a sudden Brad Miller gives Thompson a hip check that would impress a hula dancer, creating the hole for Pargo to drive and score. This was so blatant and the fact that the refs have been calling ticky tack stuff on the Kings is even worse

I'd like to see Kayte change into hotter outfits
…with each timeout, like a slow strip tease. I saw here at the LVSL in a pair of faded jeans. Great ass. First 5 minutes of second half will be big. Someone besides Donte – JT, Beno, T-Rek — needs to get hot….as Kayte’s ass.
Despite the score there were some encouraging things.
’Reke’s D on Salmons was impressive. Nice blocks on both, Salmons and Rose!
For every great thing Casspi does, he also does some silly rookie mistake. Liked his little move in the paint. Love seeing new things every game from our rooks.
Like JT’s heads up play that got the ball back after Casspi’s bonehead pass. Which led to…
’Reke’s sweet lay in after going through three Bulls defenders! (@ around 3:50)
All in all, the Bulls aren’t dominating this game. Besides Pargo’s hot hand, the Kings are beating themselves along with some bad calls.
I think we make our adjustments and pull this out with a very nice “W”.
Some bad things:
The frikken refs should be wearing Bulls jerseys. Some bullshit calls right there.
Out shooting is killing us. .231 from 3 ain’t finna cut it for this game. Hope it improves. I’m missing NOC, Kev and Cisco right about now.

He looks much bigger this season
Not the spindly guy he used to be. But he looks a little soft around the edges. Seems to be working for him though.
yeah, his upper body looks full grown

Big thing to work on
TOs been killing us for a couple games now
Godfather of the "nice ass" movement.... the future begins now...
Yep
That was an out-of-synch offense all night, and Chicago shot exceptionally well to get a big lead. Gonna have a few of these this season (especially with the injuries).
We hung in there even without Noc
and JT having an off game. That counts for something

you called it early
young team, ton of mistakes and to’s, enjoy the wins

Noah's overrated
He sucks by NBA rules(unforunately for us, the officials decided to use the WNBA rulebook tonight).
Noah
is more than just what I’ve been saying.
I used to simply point out that he’s a much better player than Hawes. But the really has stepped up. The guy has a legitimate shot to be an NBA All-Star in just his second season.
That’s pretty amazing…

Hawes has been dominated all preseason and season.
He tentative with his shot and has trouble defensing the lane.
Its fair!

I get the anger directly aim at Hawes for his poor play
I have faith in the kid, he is young, he is having a rough start of season, has only played a great game, but to look at the positives, he is a better defender than last year, and he is boxing out very well.
And it is not fair because he could have boxed out Noah so JT can grab the rebound, but he did no play that much because everyone’s loosing confidence in him, even himself, and that’s it’s unfortunate, because we need him to get back on shape and start making those 3 jumpers.
And because he did not play so much, who do you think Noah was matching up? Exactly, JT, and JT is supposed to be a good rebounder, so that’s why I think it’s not fair to pick on Hawes for this L, I say it again, every King’s Big man was dominated by Noah, and everyone played irresponsably with the ball, and that’s why we loose. But that’s just my opinion
LOL @ that putback by JT
Go figure. I love how the game is a blowout, and suddenly broadband works. Go figure.

Even though we'll lose this one
I’m happy that these guys keep trying and actually give a damn about playing good ball

Godfather of the "nice ass" movement.... the future begins now...
It was an ugly fight though
Cut down on some those dumb, emphasis on DUMB, turnovers and the game would of been a bit different.
It had to happen
TOs finally costed us a game. Learning experience

Good streak Kings
Good game to come back to reality. Let’s play hard on the road.
Godfather of the "nice ass" movement.... the future begins now...
Credit the Bulls Defense
Best D the kings faced on the homestand. Too many times they looked like they were trying to make plays that had no business being made. Chicago didn’t give up anything easy, they didn’t treat the Kings like the worst team in the NBA, came out ready.
Definately good learn for the team though.
Not to be negative...
but 24 points with 0 assists on 19 shots is not good efficiency.
I like his defense though. He was wide open all night long. I think the Bulls were challenging him to make shots. Overall though, nice effort by Donte. Definitely showing improvement.
No assists
but no turnovers, plus 5 boards. 55% true shooting in a rare start. That’s a nice game for him, period.

This game solidifies our need to have a
low post defensive minded center. Hawes complete lack of production means we get no offense or defense from him.
Time to make a move.
Noah (15 points, 14 erbounds, 1 steal and two blocked shots) killed us tonight.
so, important question.
Who’s to BLAME? Did the beard cause it? The missing wife? My lack of social activity for this evening? KFans’ karma grubbing? Pookey’s disinterest? C’mon guys, let the personal attacks reign.

Hey, you heard about Glee?
That show looks hecka tight! But I think I’ll need to catch a few more previews before I decide to watch it for sure.
Same goes for the Bon Jovi concert.

A good example of why using last year’s stats may not tell the whole story.

not to be a IMG homer but he spent 3 weeks there in June

Bulls
showed intensity early, and not having Noc hurt us, got us out of our rhythm. I thought Westphal waved the white flag early by giving Sergio extended minutes, but it will probably help us in the long run.

I like Noc better than most here
and I hope we don’t trade him until after this season. I don’t think we can afford to lose him just yet.
"I make love to pressure" - Stephen Jackson
Yeah, if there was a game we needed NOC...it was tonight.
Way too many Kings injured for them to pull this one out. Casspi looked like a rookie tonight. I’m sure he’ll bounce back. Wish Brocktimus Prime got more time today.
33 Wins. Yeah, I said it.
I think most fans like him,
but we know due to the glut of SF’s and his contract that he will be traded before the deadline.
I personally love the guy but knowing he’s going I want to get the best trade possible. Right now that need is a Center.

either reducing payroll, or adding a piece that makes your team stronger either now or in the future.

that's just wrong
from my view, Sergio was killing, and stemmed the bleeding during a very bad second quarter. The Kings needed life, and he continued the intensity Greene took with him to the bench.

Interesting stats for the Kings: Donté with 24 pts, Tyreke with 42 minutes, Omri with 4 points and 4 TO
Sergio with a nice coming out with 9 points (4-6) 5 assists, 1 steal, i TO. Kenny Thomas with 8 boards and 2 blocks in 18 min
