very interesting
I never noticed that Utah doesn’t run that much anymore.
I think Tyreke and Spencer can wreak some havoc if they did this more often. Let Kevin play the open wing when help comes.
Another flaw in the human character is that everybody wants to build and nobody wants to do maintenance. Vonnegut
nice find andysims, thank goodness you read the Times, even the sports page
The author, Jonathan Abrams, is the other interesting part of this article. I expect more juicy stuff soon to come.
Kings wise- the Kings continue to demonstrate difficulty defending the P&R. Near the end of the Dallas game, Jason Terry and Dirk cut down Tyreke’s defense on Terry with a Dirk screen and no help from JT. Tyreke – who is going over the top on many of these screens, and I believe had two fouls called on him for doing so, might do better, as this article suggests, in going under the screen. Of course, screen cover help and talking would be nice too.
rec’d. (thelettere was nice enough to post Micheal Lewis’s The No-Stats All-Star from the NYT last February)
