No mistakes in the tango, darling. Not like life. Simple. That's what makes the tango so great. If you make a mistake, and get all tangled up, you just tango on.....

Last year

Replace Omri with McCants, Westphal with Natt, and Good Donte with Bad Donte, and this is last year’s team for the non-Martin stretches. This (seven-point deficit at half) would have been a freaking high point with that squad.

If you are talking about the fastbreak

Omri should not have given him the ball there.

Professional Hyperbole Slayer

by ForThree on Nov 21, 2009 6:50 PM PST up reply actions

No I agree with that too

But, Spencer should have taken that shot. I agree Omri deserves more blame, but I also blame Spencer for not recognizing that he should have taken a reasonable shot close to the basket.

Now, 80% oi that blame goes to Omri, but 20% goes to Spencer for not playing that play properly given the circumstance.

OH well, I’m just happy the Kings are down 7 right now. Could be a lot worse given the circumstances.

It’s hard to play defense when your guards can’t prevent the dribble penetration. Sergio, Beno and Nocioni aren’t fast enough to chase Budinger, Ariza and Brooks around. When the opposing guards break through, that gives the bigs double duty to stem the leaks and still play defense against the post players. The Kings have largely put a concerted effort towards defense, but the team is in a weird situation where everyone feels the need to step up rather than concentrate on their core game, and you end up with alot of silly stuff happening. So we notice big breakdowns in the plays, but that’s largely a result of alot of small cracks compounding.

This makes sense. Why wouldn’t every announcer want to say good things about the other team? Don’t they want to portray their team as beating competitive opponents? I just keep thinking of those Utah announcers – isn’t it reidiculous for them to insult teams so badly? How bad does that make it when the Jazz lose?

God the Jazz anouncers sucked

My first year with league pass and not having grant and jerry to commentate my games, and by far watching that game against the Jazz made me wanna shoot myself. Besides having nothing positive to say about us; they had nothing of interest to say. After we beat the Jazz the commentary of their announcers consisted of nothing but “uh i’m in shock, i have nothing to say about this game”. Then again I really do hate Utah in general because of Mountain West Conference reasons (BYU and UTAH suck….GO AZTECS)

But, how many of you really just hope this team competes hard all year, but still gets a top pick next year? I’m afraid to see them win 35-40 and end up in the 11th-12th slot in the draft. I’d rather see them have a legit top 5 pick again just to continue this rebuild, but I want to see this them work hard like they are.

This is true, but Houston went small and really pushed the tempo.

Adelman knew the Kings were guardless. He had Lowry, Brooks, Ariza, Battier in there together a lot to try and push the tempo. Contributed to the high score, but also put the Kings at a disadvantage personel wise.
