Reke's big 7
For those that haven't been paying attention, since Kevin Martin left the lineup, Reke has been on a 7 game tear (I am in no way claiming cause and effect, and really believe the two of them will become the best backcourt in the NBA). He has averaged 38mpg 24.6pts 5.7 RBs and 5.6 ast.. but that's not the good part...he has hit 60 of 121 from the field (49.6%), 9 of 17 from 3 (52.9%) and 44 of 51 FTs (86.2%)
If he keeps this rate up for the rest of the season (just for fun, I know I have a small sample size, or at least that's what my wife says) he would finish the season at 24.6 points a game.
On the other hand after Jennings logged 12 points, if he continued at that pace, would average 13.6ppg. So bite me ya little midget.
I know this is not really a post and will continue my crusade for a comments section or a mini-post section for those of us who don't have the attention span to complete a real post but feel they need to throw a comment out there.

Talk about Kings homerism :P
No mistakes in the tango, darling. Not like life. Simple. That's what makes the tango so great. If you make a mistake, and get all tangled up, you just tango on.....

The thing that surprises me
is that Reke is so damn consistent. I didn’t expect that at all. As a rookie, I expected him to play well, but not this well pretty much on a nightly basis.
Good numbers but
A lot of work to do on running the Team, setting the tempo.
He’s a rookie.

Personally I am rooting for Brandon Jennings...
even though he is competing with T-Rek for ROY. A likely a two-man race unless Griffin makes big splash.
I just think it is amusing to watch this guy go on a tear, wake up the city of Milwaukee and their fans. With each explosive performance. there is more and more egg on the faces of the GM of Minnesota, New York (Donnie Walsh), Golden State (Don Nelson) for passing on this guy.
Stephan Curry looks solid, but I wonder about his size and athleticism. He is no BJ.
Jordan Hill over BJ, are you kidding me? The Knicks are desperate for a PG and excitement, and way to attract LeBron.
If T’Wolves were going to take two PGs, maybe one of them should have been Jennings.
It is inevitable Jennings shooting rate will slow. I don’t see how he continue at such an incredible shooting percentage. But his ability to get wherever he wants to get on the court, his poise and playmaking are amazing and light years ahead of where analysts had him pegged.
That know-it-all dude on ESPN had him ranked as 17th best prospect in the draft. Not quite.
Chad Ford had Jennings ranked higher than that
I know he did. He was very high on Jennings as a matter of fact.

Not Chad Ford, Jay Bilas
JAY’S BEST AVAILABLE
You can throw out specific team needs or where players will actually be drafted. The following is simply a list of the 25 best players available, according to Jay Bilas:
1. Blake Griffin, Oklahoma
2. Hasheem Thabeet, Connecticut
3. Tyreke Evans, Memphis
4. James Harden, Arizona State
5. Ricky Rubio, Spain
6. Jordan Hill, Arizona
7. Stephen Curry, Davidson
8. Jonny Flynn, Syracuse
9. Jrue Holiday, UCLA
10. DeMar DeRozan, USC
11. Terrence Williams, Louisville
12. Jeff Teague, Wake Forest
13. Ty Lawson, North Carolina
14. DeJuan Blair, Pittsburgh
15. Gerald Henderson, Duke
16. B.J. Mullens, Ohio State
17. Brandon Jennings, Italy
Who gives a shit about Jay Bilas?
Fuck him.

Hmmmm
- (yes i said it), #4, #6 and #10 all look questionable for the top ten at the moment.
It was all about Griffin and PGs as many thought.

Derozan has been playing solid for Toronto.
I’d have him above Hill personally.

and bBelinelli is getting more minutes
But I’d have him over Hill as well. Hill has no motor that I ever saw in college.

+1. Agreed.
He’s a big time athlete who’s only going to get better. I mean big time Iguodala-like athlete. I say he becomes a solid role player on any NBA team.
33 Wins. Yeah, I said it.
Iguodala isn't a bad comparison.

remember where people's bias' are
Bilas is all about promoting college basketball because its good for his career. I’d sooner trust Jessica Simpson’s opinion on a European player over Jay Bilas’.

I am claiming cause and effect
Tyreke IS better at the 2 spot. He’s NOT a Point Guard. And the sonner everyone realizes it the better the Kings will be.
I am claiming effect and cause
This is a completely new type of analysis that is a contradiction of scientific or any other evidenced base practical application. It is the complete obfuscation of rationality and the lack of any intellectually purportful findings.
This is clearly the effect and thus cause analysis. You have furthered our understanding of this new analytical construct. Clearly the effect derived from the cause is superior.

7 dimes tonight agains the Knicks - not bad for a true 2 guard.
’Reke’s averaging 4.8 dimes this year which puts him in the company of Stephen Curry (5.2) and Brandon “Mutherf*cking” Jennings (5.7). He’s ahead of that highly touted point guard named Johnny Flynn, who’s averaging 3.3 dimes.
It’s too soon to tell if ‘Reke is better at the 2. All I know is that the following ’good’ point guards averaged ’Reke-like numbers in their rookie years or years where they played 20-30 minutes:
Westbrook 5.3
Rose 6.3
Calderon 4.5 (23 mins)
Brooks 3.0 (2nd year averaging 25:00 mins)
Right now ’Reke IS showing he can play the 1 – period.
33 Wins. Yeah, I said it.
Hey, don't neglect to compare him to Kings PGs of the past:
“09-’10: Evans – 4.9
‘08-’09: Beno – 4.7
‘07-’08: Bibby – 5.0
‘06-’07: Bibby – 4.7
‘05-’06: Bibby – 5.4
He’s right there, and he’s a rookie.

I'm really looking forward to the time 5 years from now that 'Reke and Jennings are
the best PG’s in the league, and maybe… MAYBE going up against each other in the Finals* sometime in the future???
OOOHHH!!! DRAMA!
*Hey, 5 years is a long time in the NBA… Stay with me here, you never know what will happen!
... Now let me show you why they call me the Velour Fog...
