Been a slow news week in general.

Other than the games, there has been little to talk about since the Okafor/Dalembert rumors. Plus, it’s Thanksgiving. Less people will be around.

Yah, if you follow him (you all should)

He’sbeen ripping a local show in Boston for a few weeks, because they kept making fun ofhim on air. The radiohosts got fined, but stayed on the air. Simmons got a suspension from Twitter. Needless to say, he’s PISSED.

I do follow him

and I was wondering why he hadn’t written anything in a bit (except for book tour stuff). I googled what you mentioned and read the story. I do remember him ripping the Boston station and yes, I’m assuming he’s PISSED.

I think at this point, he has enough of a following to break away from under the ESPN umbrella and still be succesful. It’d probably be tough but after a number 1 best seller I’m sure he could do it.

Getting the book pretty soon, I keep hearing great things about it.

How will the players follow through on their shots

when they have no wrists? I guess a couple of those were removed or bonded already this year anyway. Bah! An ankle injury is actually good news in Kings speak. It’s words like physioball and “Non-contact play” that I have learned to fear over the years.

Okay, totally freaking conflicting information on KCRA.

KCRA 3 News reported that he was taken to the hospital, but that Evans personally told the broadcaster that he would be playing tomorrow. So, I’m guessing the trip to the hospital was just for the X-rays? They used the sensational approach to make it sound worse before the commercial break (“Tyreke rushed to the hospital!”), but then the news didn’t sound too bad when they got back. Hmmmm.

Unfortunately, his style of play might mean more than a few trips to the ER over the years.

telemedicine for radiologic imaging but -

I am betting they MR -ed this rookie. And it is a good idea, I am guessing that with this season’s start the added radiation exposure for a long career of chips, deep bruises and worse for this rookie X-rays are not the best choice.

From ESPN's Ric Bucher's twitter
How much I love this game (and want to see Tyreke Evans live): making 3 1/2 hr drive to Sacramento to see Kings-Knicks Thanksgiving Eve

Either he made sure Tyreke is playing tonight or simply didn’t know he twisted his ankle at all. If the latter is true, Bucher is going to be really dissapointed once he gets to Sac.
