Amick: Spencer Hawes to Start Wednesday
Could Sean May go from starter to out of the rotation? We'll see if Westphal believes in Kenny Thomas, who played well Monday.

Grats Spence
Now keep playing well and carve that starting spot in stone. Shock and Hawes, back together again.

Tough to argue that he hasn't earned it
I hope it’s a lesson well learned, that need not be repeated. We have hungry players waiting this year.

finally!!
spence does not belong on the bench. i didn’t even understand why he was on the bench. tell me one thing Sean May does better?

I don't think it was as much what Sean May does
As what Spencer wasn’t doing.
Desmond Mason - Untied the balloon in Colorado, forged Obama's birth certificate, and ruined the careers of Omri Casspi and Tyreke Evans.

May doesn't think he can shoot threes.
That’s worth 3-5 possessions a game.

Its worth about .3 points a game actually
Spence career 3 point % is .308 leafue average is around 36 , so even if he did average 5 per game it only is 3 10ths of a point less than average, and counts the same as a .462 two point percentage…so who cares

So he's only better off passing if...
he passes to someone with a 2 PT FG% better than .462 like JT (career) or Omri, thus he should only take the open three if neither of those players are on the floor or open.

Please Spencer don’t suck now that you are the starter.

K-9 is hungry
…Because we’ve been horribly neglecting and starving him of playing time. I’m sure, after all these years of abuse, he’ll be just about ready to eat up anyone on the court! Give the dog his day..he might be some use.

Hawes earned his starting spot. Let's see if Casspi can earn his.
There can only be one Noce!

casspi has already earned his
he needs to start soon and than we can wave mason because if mason is benched i dont see him getting more than 10 mins per game.

Mason's starting
… and still only getting 15:30 per game on average. Omri is balling, Nocioni is playing well and even Donte is improving. If he goes to the bench it will be waaaaaaaaay at the end… as in the end that’s in the car park. That clause about him being on the roster in January seems a darn good idea to me…
Trouble is, we need Cisco back before we do anything rash there.

Casspi has earned his. Noc and Mason haven’t proven they deserve the starters job.

Casspi will be starting soon
I am lowering my prediction to 10 games from now. PW is learning he can trust Omri more and more, he plays smart, he plays both ends, and Desmond has little to offer, so it’s inevitable….
until then I expect Omri to enter the game earlier, and play longer. 25-30 minutes seems about right. And always in 4th quarter crunch time.
Fun fact: All of the Kings games are televised live in Israel this year. A whole country is waiting for Omri to be named starter.

That's awsome.
Hillary ought to take him with her when negotiating with the Isreales.

Looks like Noc will be starting now (thats the rumor) but also feel Casspi should be. Hoping it is just a temporary thing because Casspi is new to the league, but we are already starting a rookie…..

Does anyone know the quick way of
posting a picture? I couldn’t find it on the formatting guide.
Thanks in advance.
