Playoff Bound?!

The Kings are currently tied for 8th place in the West. After some extensive research, I found the 100% of the teams ranked 8th place or better at this point in the season make the playoffs. This bodes well for the Kings. They should start preparing for the Suns. Once K-Mart returns, we could definitely see a strong climb in the standings towards a first round home-court advantage situation. I am very enthused.

I consider myself an optimist

But I have not set any money aside for my playoff tickets at this point.

Maybe

You could start a fund by selling guys like this seats on the bandwagon.

The draft lottery has reinforced my belief that there are not enough bad words in the English language.

You have to admit

It’s a better bandwagon than the downer “we’re going to lose all our games without Kmart” bandwagon. And certainly more realistic the way our babies are playing.

"The basis for winning an NBA title is having a superstar in his prime. Not an all-star, or a bunch of all-stars, but a superstar."

No playoffs, no way

but a real future seems to be brewing.
BUT, If Casspi, Donte’ and of course Tyreke continue to grow (and we add another athletic big) we may be talking about the possibility of an 8th seed as soon as next season.

Lets not forget

We were 3-4 at this point last year as well. And we all know how that ended, i think this is a much better team then last year but lets not get to excited.

I called this after the OKC game

Everyone was overreacting to how bad we lost, so I said that once we started winning a couple we’d have playoff posts. Now we won two in a row and have two playoff posts the same day.
