Does that mean they were able to remove all the softness?

Good News. Heal fast young man.

Mid January at the earliest

I can live with it.

No mistakes in the tango, darling. Not like life. Simple. That's what makes the tango so great. If you make a mistake, and get all tangled up, you just tango on.....

I will Eagerly await

Kevin’s and Cisco’s return to the team for the playoff run

by ElRonToro on Nov 9, 2009 4:23 PM PST reply actions

Haven't you heard?

We’ve already got the playoffs on lock. We’ll just need them to secure homecourt advantage.

And we're trading Martin

For Stephen Jackson and the rights to Joe Barry Carroll, I think.

I don't think that's enough

for the Warriors. Let’s also give them Reke to make it fair

Yeah.

Martin’s albatross contract is weighing us down.

What was done to his wrist?

Anybody have any info on the procedure? What can be done to a hairline fracture? I did not think anything except let it heal.

by KingsFan on Nov 9, 2009 4:47 PM PST reply actions

heard they pinned it

Otherwise it might not heal. The choice was to cast it and hope it healed or surgery. If tried the cast they would have to wait 8 weeks and if it didn’t heal they would have to do the surgery then 8 more weeks. The surgery is a guaranteed only 8 weeks.

I heard Kev got two super strong titanium rods put in the wrist, so he can...

bitch slap Peaches with his new and improved wrist as his first act of rehab. Proving Martin is not soft anymore.

Anybody else notice

When Kevin was interviewed he would not look at Peaches, maybe one glance his way. He smiled and look directly at Jerry any time he talked, but would not look at Napear.

I hope that sends a strong message. When one of the classiest guys on the team disses you then you should get it that you are being a douche bag.

by MustangMBS on Nov 9, 2009 8:13 PM PST up reply actions

Again

We knew the Kings weren’t going to do anything this year so I think the injury is a blessing in disguise, as long as he returns healthy. Tyreke, Jason, Omri, and Hawes will all get more opportunities to develop with Kevin out for two months.

by OriginalBallboy on Nov 9, 2009 5:06 PM PST reply actions

I agree...

And not that I want to go down the “the team is better without him in the lineup” route but you have to admit, the guys that are getting the minutes are making the most of them.

by OrangeLazarus on Nov 9, 2009 7:08 PM PST up reply actions

Its a very good thing

but there will be nights when we can’t find enough points without him.

Rather now than later

not that anyone would rather have him hurt ever but its not like it kills playoff hopes.

Hopefully he heals up so its a non issue later on.

I'm willing to bet

that Kevin will be willing to come off the bench for a while when he returns.

by ElRonToro on Nov 9, 2009 8:38 PM PST up reply actions

Get well Kevin

we will be waiting for you and Cisco to return!!!

Speedy Gonzales

Kevin martin, B-baller. A man with a broke wrist. Gentlemen, we can rebuild him. We have the technology. We have the capability to build the world’s first bionic player. K-Mart will be that man. Better than he was before. Better, stronger, faster.
