PrintI just peeped Hollinger's new power rankings. Finally there is some proof that his number crunching is faulty. He has the Hornets, Warriors, and Bobcats ranked HIGHER than the Kings right now. The Kings continue to not get proper respect nationally, and I can't wait for the national media to eat crow! You can't tell me the Hornets, Warriors, or Bobcats are playing better basketball right now than the Kings, so I say poo poo on you Hollinger!

When a 6-11 team (Pistons) is ranked higher than a 9-7 team (Bucks)...
then it’s no surprise that the 6-10 Warriors are ranked higher than our sorry asses at 8-8.

But folks have to realize Hollinger’s power rankings aren’t really “his”. They’re done by the computer. His computer had the Kings ranked in 06-07 much higher than they should have been that season. It was pretty funny, but that’s the way it is sometimes.
People shouldn’t get up in arms over Power Rankings. There is much more important shit to get pissed off over.

I’m not saying they’re not playing well, but if Hollinger is using home court advantage to lower a team’s ranking, it should be across the board.

The Bobcats have been playing well
Gerald Wallace was just named player of the week in the East. The Bobcats has won four straight, including a win over the Cavs before losing to the Celtics Monday.
