I don't think anyone should win the MIP award in they're 2nd year

Looking at Gasol here. You’re supposed to improve after a year in the league. It’s more impressive when people are doing it without that. I would take Gasol off the list and add in Dahntay Jones, otherwise, its pretty hard to argue with that list.

As far as CoY goes, I have to agree with they’re list so far, but I think that if it was extended to 6 and 7, Westphal and Lionel Hollins of Memphis would get some love as well. Scotty Brooks is really doing an amazing job in OKC, especially with they’re defense. Sefolosha has been amazing in that regard for them, I read somewhere calling him Doug Christie 2.0 and I have a hard time disagreeing. I also think that Westbrook/Sefolosha backcourt is the only backcourt that will be able to compete (defensively) with a Evans/Martin backcourt.
