Wow
Kings almost gave it away but luckily we have Evans who single handedly won it for us at the end with a defensive stop and some clutch free throws!

I'm down
I actually found out last week that my brother has leukemia. So that cause is important to me at the moment.

Hodgkin's or non-Hodgkin's?
If you don’t want to answer, I understand. LLS (the parent company of Team IN Training) is the #1 fundraiser in the world for blood cancer (like leukemia).
In either case, I hope the best for your brother.

We let the Bucks back in this one
Thankfully we pulled it through.
Arenas & Jamison killed us tonight.
Reke awesome as usual. Noce good offense bad defense. He was overmatched.
Udrih uncharacteristic bad shooting night gets a pass.
And...
Kobe Bryant, our best player, won it at the buzzer in overtime. Wait a minute….

Arenas definitely complains a lot.
Anyone else notice him getting cozy with the black referee only? It seemed that every time the Kings shot free throws he would track that guy down and start working him for calls. I may have missed it, but I didn’t notice him do the same with either of the other two refs.

a loose ball foul was committed by Arenas before Tyreke had possession of the ball, so no steal credit. If there was column for Picked Pockets or Biggest Play of the Game, one for Tyreke.

I think you're exactly right
And I think the tactic the Kings were going for was not to get JT in foul trouble early. I have no doubt he would have been out early had he been guarding Jamison.

I think it had somewhat to do with Spencer not playing well either
I mean Spencer really could post up Jamison if he had him 1 on 1 8 feet away from the cup. It’s just Spencer is struggling badly right now.
But, I agree about the foul trouble with Jamison.

No.
He got ABUSED by Love and Jefferson Saturday. Start Brockness and bring in Spencer when one of them sits.
Brockman will certainly get some burn

Everyone really
Tyreke did the best job on him, he scored a lot on Beno, and he got a lot of calls in his favor (10-12 from the line)

I dunno about that
The Kings got away with PLENTY of calls:
That 24 second clock violation
Omri’s dunk in the 2nd half (he definitely pushed the defender’s arm off with his left and the ball slipped out of his right)
One of the out of bounds calls (can’t remember which one but it was out on us, but we got the ball)
Foye’s blocking foul where Spencer ran him over
and more..

The 24 second violation
was on the Wiz but Boykins (I think) definitely hit the rim on his attempt and they got the offensive rebound and made it, but the scorekeeper didn’t reset the shot clock.

Actually looked it up
Yeah, it was more even than I thought in watching the game. Have it recorded and going to re-watch. Not tonight though.
Yeah, the Kings got some breaks
Another subpar night from the refereeing crew. The 24 second shot clock call was laughable – when a ball is heading towards the basket and suddenly bounces up about three feet, there’s a good chance it hit the rim.
"When you look at him, you say: 'Holy God.'" - Pete Carril on Tyreke Evans
the non goal tending call on the fastbreak
which lead to a lucky 4 point play for Noce. Bad non call as the ball hit the backboard first.

Got to agree with you on that one.
There were a lot of calls that were questionable to say the least. Gilbert got away with a lot more travels than the 2 they called on him. Can’t really complain about the officiating (only because we won) because we got away with a bunch and so did they.

There was another goaltend
where I think Beno got fouled and either Haywood or Blatche swatted it on its way down. Resulted in 2 FT’s but should have been an And1.

Remember that
and I think it was Omri’s shot

I don't recall a game
called more favorably for the Kings honestly. We did well better than 50/50 on questionable calls tonight in my opinion.

My favorite parts of the game...
Firstly, the return of Arco Thunder! Damn that shit was LOUD!
Tyreke stuffing Arenas in the first part of the game.
Tyreke stealing the ball at the end of the game.
Gavin taking the “Make Noise” sign from Slamson and jumping up and down he was so into the game.
And of course the win!
Wow.

It was pretty wild
Everybody was on their feet cheering and I looked down to see Gavin wrestle the sign away from Slamson. Slamson stood there on these big ass stilts with his hand out like WTF.
The crowd was way into it… Kind of made me realize what we have been missing… It has been a while.
You know it was funny
I knew the crowd was loud, but I couldn’t tell because ESPN drowned it out.

I was on the last row of section 201 and had a good crowd view
The Noce 3 got everyone up, it was so loud I had no idea it was a 4 point play until they came back from the TO and he was at the line.
It was such a cool night to be at Arco. I hope the team won some more fans tonight and they’re going to start showing up

My least favorite things
The refs must have been the Wizards biatches cause they called way too damn many fouls on our boys and ignored blatant fouls on the Kings.
I watched Evans get hacked right in front of the ref. You know how he tucks the ball. Well you got to hack him big time to get it loose and that is what happened. Along with like 3 guys falling on him in the paint when he drove on more than one occasion and they never called it on the Wiz. Pissed me the fuck off…
In particular, the loose ball foul call on JT after he make an awesome low post score and then they called it way late and took the 2 away. Like they couldn’t call it 3-4 seconds earlier cause that is when it would have had to have happened.
Jameson is an asshole that deserves to be buried up to his neck on the beach during low tide and only allowed up when he agrees to sign on with the Kings. We really had no answer for him defensively the whole first half of the game.
Hmm..
Hmm..
I knew Jamison would probably have a big game

20 in the first half and 10 in second..
You know the interesting thing about stats. I just looked up the foul totals and the Wiz had more. 23 to 18 so go figure. It is subjective and definitely felt like they were missing some calls. Probably cause they were trying to balance out the number of fouls called or some shit…
It's hard to say MBS

I actully thought the Kings got a bunch of calls
That 24 second violation was horrible but hey, when they go your way we can’t complain. I thought there were mistakes for both teams but nothing that really decided the outcome of the game. That’s how it should be
Godfather of the "nice ass" movement.... the future begins now...
Probably just a couple that stood out
Yeah, there were some calls on the Wiz… That is true. I think that Evans wasn’t getting some calls he should when he was aggressive. That will probably change after the refs realize he is a demi-god and they must bow to his greatness.
I remember which ones you;re talking about
especially one when he didn;t get the call and on the next play Arenas gets to the line on a cheap foul.

LOL
I saw that they took JR and Peaches seats. I guess ESPN rolls into town and some things change. I also saw the ESPN RV parked outside and started yelling, “now what ESPN? Jenning my ass”
And I didn;t even have a beer

I wonder if that "near steal" by Reke changed some people's minds
That really reminds me of how the Kings lost game 3 in the 96 playoffs. Gary Payton did the same thing to Lionel Simmons if I remember right. (Bad memory.)

The cool thing is that
the Sacramento Kings won because they got a defensive stop, emphasis on defensive

No no no Eddie
The Kings won because Tyreke Evans stripped Gilbert Arenas, a legitimate All-Star NBA 3rd Team player of the ball when they were up 1 with the game on the line.

Yeah
I was the idiot yelling “we finally got our superstar” as I walked toward the exits. Kid is special

I was at the game with the group tickets that someone posted. I don’t know if I met any of you but I went with my two brothers and a friend and this game was just amazing! Like edm7 just said I FUCKING LOVE THIS TEAM!!! Watching these guys go out there and compete is outstanding especially with what happened last year. Tyreke came up with a great steal and clutch free throws. It was beautiful to see and can’t wait to go to the Nuggets game with STR
About StR night
Billups pulled his harmstring tonight and is day-to-day from now on. 10 days away but still

Melo playing like an MVP still tough
But I don’t mind injury breaks. We’ve been playing without our second best player for most of the season

Or everyone else really.
Hard to stop Melo with double teams.

I have the feeling I will want another stretch of beach...
Good night all, awesome game, and awesome win!
and JR Smith
That sounds like a good matchup for Udoka.

Very well may be
The one thing I love about our Baby Royals is the versatility. Omri talked about it on the post game, but he talked about how everyone on the Kings is tall & long & what not. That makes it easy to defend a team.
On the other hand, I agree about Udoka vs Smith. He’s the perfect kind of junkyard dog that could frustrate JR Smith.

Kinda off topic but...
I just want to ask everyone to keep Bengal’s WR Chris henry in your prayers. He’s currently on life support and fighting for his life after falling from the back of a pick up truck and sustaining head injuries.
So I Wanted To Know If Anyone Else Notices...
That Tyreke and Beno argue who is going to bring up the ball every play? Kinda worried about chemistry issues! But great game!

Arguing?
More like conspiring “Hey Beno, you want to destroy them this time?”
Purchase you're tickets to the first ever StR Night at ARCO Arena, 12/28/09 v. the Nuggets. Link is here!
and Beno goes...
Nah, I got mine last night. You go pound on them this time. I’ll get the next one.
There can only be one Noce!
I Hope So...
But let’s hope that for Beno’s sake, because Tyreke would pound him to the ground, like Kobe did to that girl in Denver.

OK, so this was an absolutely fantastic night. Dollar beers were fantabulous. I’m still hella drunk. Tyreke’s steal was completely priceless. I almost jinxed this game on FB. Sorry.
