The obvious temptation is to go with [Sergio] Rodriguez and Tyreke Evans as the backcourt of the future and trade [Kevin] Martin for frontcourt help and/or a true 3 who can also be a defensive stopper. There are a few tams where Martin would really fit in great because of his shooting -- including the aforementioned Bulls -- but this can't be a fire sale. Kings have little incentive to rush into this.

I'm still trying to figure out what a "true" PG is,
what the heck is a “true 3”. We’ve got 6 SF’s now. Aren’t any of them a true 3?

stupid idiot
So we are winning right now with this group of players so that obviously mean K-Mart is Vladmir Potpenko and we should give the bum a way to another young team like the Bulls who already have 49590 kings on their roster.. Umm not going to happen Mr. Hollinger stop playing back seat GM. K-Mart is young has a relatively cheap contract for his play and any team would love to have him on their team if the Kings were stupid enough to trade him. The owners love him most of us fans love him. Why the F would we trade him to the Bulls who would have nothing we want unless Rose is coming this way. Not gonna happen.

Sergo has a couple good games and all of a sudden he should be the part of the backcourt of the future?
Its 16 games, at least wait a little more time before jumping to conclusions.
Hollinger has been a Sergio supporter for a while
He has always said he is a good PG who can be very useful for many teams. Last year he said that he would love seeing him with D’Antoni in the Knicks.
For a second there I thought someone screwed up
And this was actually a new member’s fanpost that was accidentally fanshotted. But lo and behold, someone has gotten paid to write that. What a pile of crock.

Honestly, there is one thing Petrie should be focused on right now
and that’s somehow landing Chris Bosh this summer. A superstar big man is what we need more than anything. We have plenty of depth in the back court with Evans, Sergio, and Beno. And that’s not counting Cisco and Martin. Nocioni, Casspi, and Donte have been getting it done at the 3 spot. I’d like to see Noc’s contract traded to get some more cap room, but even without him Cisco will be able to step in. But, we don’t have enough depth up front. I’d love to see this change by us landing Bosh.

Western Conference Finals at least if this happens.
It’s just dern scary how good this team is becoming and how great it will be if Bosh was in our front court. * Shivers *
33 Wins. Yeah, I said it.
It's funny reading national media.
They don’t see the kings games and all the sudden they start coming to conclusions. Before the start of the season i thought Evans is way to big to play the PG. But after seeing him play to start off the season i not only think he can play the point, but average 28ppg 8ast, and 6rpg. He’s gonna make others better just like lebron. Look at cleveland, they dont have a pure pg because lebron takes car of that. why dont they start calling lebron a pg.

is to write whatever falls from your rearward orifice and call it newsworthy.

Which is okay with me.

Yeah -
I can’t wait for him to suggest that we trade Miller or Salmons.

ok Sergio IS a better PG than Martin
But as a player he is a much lesser entity, I suspect if GMs rank players 1 thru whatever, the page that Martin is on will be many pages ahead of Sergio. I don’t believe we’ve reached the point where we can start reducing talent level on the team,
Leveling players 1 thru 5 (1 being Superstar),., Martin is a 2. Sergio is trying to prove he can be a 3 in this league.
No he has his own number

I could see it
I could see a Tyrus Thomas for K-Mart deal as something the Kings would be willing to consider
Ehh. Tyrus is not the answer for the Kings.
JT already does what he does and is better at it. Don’t get me wrong, I like Tyrus’ game a lot but just not for the Kings.
33 Wins. Yeah, I said it.
I hope that they don't consider it for long
An undersized PF (6-9), whose best season had him posting 11 points and 7 boards. Certainly Martin is worth more than that?

the ONLY player on the Bulls...
…that has remotely close to Martin’s value outside of Rose is Joakim Noah, and even then, I’d rather Martin.
I agree with Hollinger
And we should also stop starting May

Yeah!
Isn’t it December already?
