You spelled Comparing wrong.
Also, I liked this article.

Not!
YOU got it wrong!
He clearly meant “compraing”:
“pra” = peruse recent accomplishments
“com” = with
“ing” = in the course/process of
thus – “in the course of perusing together the recent accomplishments of…”
How long must we endure this lack of education and/or critical thought?

No mistakes in the tango, darling. Not like life. Simple. That's what makes the tango so great. If you make a mistake, and get all tangled up, you just tango on.....

Looks like someone else fixed it
That’s what I get for posting stuff in the middle of a busy day at work. As always, I’m glad I could increase the perceived professionalism of the site.
Never forget: I am a complete idiot
Interesting stuff
I forgot how big a splash Iverson made when he came into the league.
"When you look at him, you say: 'Holy God.'" - Pete Carril on Tyreke Evans
Or continues to make
Iverson is always a major story in NBA circles, or do you not read ESPN fool?

Needs to increase his stats in December?
Isn’t being on par with LeBron good enough?
I guess he can do it. Martin won’t be back. So, as long as he doesn’t hurt himself again and learns to stop driving into the double teams, he should be able to do it.
OK, Tyreke, stop lollygagging around, and start putting in the effort. ;)

Pretty sure he meant
Tyreke will need to improve his stats in December to remain on par with LeBron and the others, who improved their stats in December.
The next line:
Everyone except Bryant raised their scoring average in December.

I know, but Tyreke in on par with what LeBrons is doing now, not LeBron as a rookie.
"If you don't have anything good to say, LIE" - Mom
That's a stretch
Tyreke: 18.8 points, 5.0 rebounds, 4.7 assists, 44.6% shooting.
LeBron: 29.2 points, 6.7 rebounds, 8.0 assists, 52.3% shooting.
Yes, they are the only two players averaging above the artificial cut-offs of 18.5, 5.0 and 4.5, but that doesn’t make them on par.
I think I get your point, that Tyreke is doing fine and shouldn’t be pressured to step up more. I agree.

I agree
I don’t know that I want Evans to be trying to increase his scoring a ton this month. I rather see him improve on his shooting %, assists, t/o, etc. Twenty points and five plus assists is solid numbers from anyone. I’d like to see the team improve at stats, but not one player at the possible expense of the team. The good news is, I don’t get the feeling Evans spends a lot of time worrying about ROY or other comparisons. He seems like a lunchpail guy who puts his head down and gets to work. Not a glory hound.

I think he cares but it's not his top priority
and like you I think he is a down to earth guy.
He left that game when he only needed 1 pt to break the 20pt rookie scoring streak, with about 3 minutes to go. And, if I’m not mistaken, he left early in the game where he scored 30pts when there was a lot of time on the clock.
So, I’m sure winning ROY would be important to him & his family, but it doesn’t look to be his top priority.

No, keep driving into doubles
It is not the driving into doubles that I want him to stop.
I just want him to learn to pass out of them better!
I like that he says Jennings will probably be ROY
but when comparing Evans to other players he points out 2 ROYs (Iverson and Lebron) and 2 other superstars from the same draft classes (Kobe and Wade). It’s really just proof that ROY doesn’t mean he won’t be a star. It’s also good to note that the two ROY winners have 0 rings between ’em while the other two have 5

With no mention of defense,
I hope that is accomplishments on that end of the floor count for something.
I would rather have a 18, 6, 8 guy who plays “D” than a 26, 6, 8 guy who is an offensive weapon only.

+10. But 'Reke is or will be a 26, 6, 8 dude that CAN play "D". The Kings are in great hands!
33 Wins. Yeah, I said it.
