A little Raider letdown
Win without Tyreke against Denver, perhaps a head scratcher here against the Sixers. Maybe this will setup a big win next game…

I'm getting sick of losses like this
it’s not the young guys who let us down (coz our rooks and sophs are doing great), but the old guys.
I say we give Petrie & Westphal another 3 years to figure out how to trade our vets.
There's nothing to fear but everything.
I feel bad for the fans who went to the game
The only reason you go to see the Kings play an awful team like the sixers is to see the Kings win. What a rip off.

well
Definitely be glad you weren’t there, it was pretty confusing… Definitely need Tyreke and Martin back. Without them this is pretty much last years team. Well, Casspi is a stud but I bet the win totals would be similar.

With that said...
It didn’t suck as bad as being at the Lakers game… Nothing like getting run out of your own building by a bunch of nut swinging Lakers fans…

Wasn't much of a crowd tonight.
I’m sure that didn’t help pump up the boys much.

Lot more empty seats downstairs
than on Monday. At least it looked that way.

There was definitely some empty upstairs sections on Monday's game that I noticed
I didn’t see many empty seats for the lower bowl though.

Oh, let's settle down, everyone.
Please don’t everyone wait to fall apart until we get to the rough part of the schedule.
Rocks are free, and slingshots easily stolen.
Not Sure
I am not sure the rough part of the schedule will be all that bad when we get Tyreke and Martin back. This team can be outclassed by almost anyone without those two…

Like running the marathon without feet.
Not legs, feet. Stump running.
There's nothing to fear but everything.
That's exactly what makes this loss so frustrating
we havn’t hit the rough part of the schedule. That makes games like this all the more important to win. 15-18 looks alot better then 14-19 after the next two games

Dissapointing loss
I thought we totally had this game and could’ve establish that in the 1st. Then, the guys stopped playing hard, thinking they were much better than the Sixers. They started making fancy sloppy passes, and turning the ball over too much. This all came back to bite them. This is why you have to respect every opponent. Many predicted this so I don’t know how much of a surprise this loss is.
They’re going to eat a piece of humble pie, and that’s cool with me. Tyreke or not, we could’ve, dare I say, easily gotten this game but we let up thinking we were good enough, and of course, we’re not. This doesn’t erase the past 3 great games, but it does give the players and coaching staff enough perspective to keep working hard. The problem is that this was probably the easiest game of the next 12.
January, ready or not, here come the Kings

Not sure which game was worse
This one or the Memphis debacle. Probably this one.

Ithink ths is the first game
we were actually ‘supposed’ to win and didn’t. No game on the road is a surewin so this one was as close as you can get. We just couldn’t do it.
The funny part to me, is that we actually looked like the better team in the first. We looked great, even without Reke, compared to them.

Just no followthrough
And too much mustard for Beno and Donte got them back into the game.

Reke's absence was really felt on defense tonight.
We shot 47% and still lost.
Sloppy play. We need to get up for bad teams as well as good ones. We seem to play to the level of our competition.
Looking forward to Kmarts return.

5
I think we beat Dallas, Golden State to get our record to 16 – 19, then we lose two more, beat Philly to get our 17th win to tie last year, then win two more in Washington and Charlotte to bring us to 19-21, then drop the next 3 to fall to 19-24.
But then again, Tyreke and Kevin should be back, so although I’m thinking 5, I’m still pretty pessimistic from last years team, and this team has already done way more than I thought it would this year and has played some very good teams well. I wouldn’t be surprised if we did win 8 of those games (alright I’d be a little surprised). I think the expected range should be 4-7, and thats if we win the games we’re supposed to win: GS, Philly, Washington, Charlotte. But who knows, maybe we play the Magic and their shots aren’t falling that night, same thing with Phoenix (who I think we can beat with Tyreke and Kevin), we already beat the Nuggets who will probably want revenge, we almost beat Atlanta, we will want revenge against Miami. Anything can happen.

I have us at 5-10 for January
I would love to be wrong about this.
SACTOWN ROYALTY - Try our thick creamy shakes!
I said 5 of the next 12
And the next 3 games are v. GS (a win in my opinion), @ Utah (They won’t let us beat them twice at home will they?), v. Charlotte (I’ll be at this game so I’m calling it a win.) that would have me predicting 7-8 for January. That looks way optimistic to me now that I think about it, but it counts on us winning the games we’re supposed to and surprising a couple good teams.

You're on par with you're predictions so far
December – 8 home games (Pacers, Heat, T-Wolves, Wiz, Cavs, L*kers, Nugs & Sixers) provide 4 wins, but the road proves unkind, as they drop 6 of 7 (the lone win coming in Milwaukee on the back end of a back-to-back). 5-10 for the month, 14-17 at year-end.

were easier to swallow because they were on the road this one was far worse

well, um
This season so far, the Sixers had been under achieving, after winning 40 games and making the playoffs last year. Seems like they are getting back on track. Even Elton is making some progress (by the way, he looks really out of shape. I mean, flabby. That has to have a lot to do with his under achieving. Guess missing the greater part of 2 years with injuries will do that to you.)
The Kings, are the opposite. They have been over achieving. They were the worst team in the league last season, and now there are whispers of making the playoffs.
So, this game is disappointing, but not surprising. Not without our 3 best players out with injury.
It would have helped if Beno could have held off his regression to the mean for 2 more games. Ugh. Bye bye Warbeno? I hope not.

THIS is why you want Kevin Martin and Tyreke Evans.
How does a team even respond to that? I can’t wait to have them both back. We could surprise some pretty good teams I think.

tonights loss definitely reminded me of our huge weakness of last year; a lack of a go-to guy. sure hawes, thompson, greene, casspi, udrih can have a sharp offensive game, but i can’t see any of them taking over a game singlehandedly. kmart and tyreke evans defintely have that ability. we won last game on a team effort, but every once and a while we just need to have that, dare i say it, “star factor”,.Reke has won us games against the wiz, bucks with his singular effort. and the kings offense can ride on kmarts shooting( and ft) when hes on the money
No big deal
We were due for a clunker. It’s the NBA, what can you say?
