Marcin Gortat wants a bigger role on the court. Could it happen with the Kings?

If so, what are we willing to give up for him?

I believe Gortat is a BYC,

Plus he’s untradeable until Dec. 15th.

Maybe Cisco would work he's a BYC and makes about the same money

I don’t think anyone else falls within the trade exemption limits of Gortat’s $2.9M trade value.

I like this idea

Love Cisco, but we’ve got wings, and Gortat could get almost 30 minutes a night here.

Orlando already has Matt Barnes

Mickeal Pietrus, Vince Carter and Rashard Lewis taking up the 2/3 minutes. Where does Cisco fit into that plan?

And Lewis plays mostly 4 for Orlando

I dont’ really see why Orlando does that.

Yep

Forgot about him. Plus Anthony Johnson, Jameer Nelson and Jason Williams. Orlando needs Gortat more as a backup C than they need to trade him.

pretty much

Sucks for him, because he’s not leaving. It would take more than he’s worth to pry him away from Orlando, and in today’s NBA that’s too much.

Precisely

Otis Smith said at the time he was protecting an asset, but I think he’s very delusional on what Gortat is worth in this market.

I like Gortat

But I’m hoping the Kings draft a PF/C in the draft, so he again wouldn’t be much of a help in my opinion.

He's (Gortat) still very young

I might be with HT above, maybe, though Cisco is my Guy. I think he helps us get to the promised land as is probably as good as anyone we can get 8-14 in the draft.
