I’m so hard on myself, I think I could be doing better. I set a goal to average a double-double throughout the season and I had it, but I’ve been going up and down. I want to be more consistent and be an automatic double-double each game. To achieve that I have to get through some adversity with foul trouble and injuries[.]
Worth reading the whole thing, it seems like JT really has a good head on his shoulders.

I think JT is putting 'star' pressure on himself.
He really just needs to focus on four things, knowing the offense, rebounding, defending his man and overall team defense. I’m sure he wants to improve his post game but I think it will come naturally little by little. Being an automatic double double takes some serious work. Only 6 guys did those numbers last year and the some of the 8 players that are on pace this year will probably flame out as the season progresses.
I feel like 14 and 9 is nothing to sneeze and is a huge accomplishment in this league. What’s even more amazing is that it seems like more than half of his 14 points is made from put backs and tip ins, which is very difficult to do.
Keep your head up, JT, your time to shine will come soon enough.
33 Wins. Yeah, I said it.

Very true
14 and 9 is nothing to complain about in the second year. He needs to just focus on improving his game one step at a time and things will come along. You are very correct about the whole 20-10 thing, people throw it around like it is something that is very common which is untrue.
It is refreshing though to see that he really desires to improve and I think he can be special paired with Evans.
He get way too frustrated
Needs to chill quite a bit, he’s getting in his own way.
He’ll figure it out
