Madoff?
I’ve heard nothing on Maloof victimization at the hands of Madoff, and they don’t appear on the DoJ’s victims list.
I would hope
the Maloofs would be smarter than to invest hundreds of millions of dollars into one VC company especially during a time when the economy was on a down swing.
Donte? Donte'! Donté?!?!

Tough to say
There were so many huge feeder organizations that invested in Madoff’s firm that they could have gotten caught up in one or more of those.
Did you review the entire victim's list?
Just wondering, because it’s 163 pages and contains a ton of partnerships and trusts.
I’ve now heard this reported in multiple locations, although I’ve yet to see a concrete link or a comment by them. That, combined with Vegas taking a huge hit over the past year (which is very likely to continue in 2009 and beyond) has to make it very tempting for them to dump salary. I just hope they let Petrie do it at his own pace, even if that means holding out until this summer for a better deal.
Madoff had a great reputation
So imitate the action of the tiger!
Stiffen the sinews, summon up the blood,
Disguise fair nature with hard-favoured rage.
- lend the eye a terrible aspect,
Now set the teeth - and teach them how to war!

Crazy...
I’m told had their Madoff profits been real, they’d have purchased the Luxor.
Yes, very proud of myself, actually.
At any rate, gonna be tough for them to come up with 300M for the dreaded relocation fee…
