Brad, we love you, too.
Brad apparently got a little emotional talking about his days with the Kings.

Brad gave us some good years
but I never got used to his bradface and his continual whining and complaining about fouls. Actually, personally I’m going to miss Mikki more than brad.

Brad Milller was a big influence on me
I started playing basketball a few years ago and Brad was someone I related to (I too am a big slow white guy). I wish B-Rad the best and hope he plays well for Da’ Bulls.

The years he was here
were inconsistent.
‘03-’05: Brad was motivated, and he put up good numbers that showed that
‘06: Unmotivated, more unathletic than ever, as well as pouty
’07: Nearly cool beans, near-return to his old form
’08: see ’06 + he was taking time away from Shock and Hawes, and that’s bad.
Thats what really annoyed me about him, his inconsistency.. you didn’t know for sure what he was bringing the next season, motivated Brad or pouty, annoying Brad. So because of that, I thank him for serving as our starting center here and giving us good humor on his way out (“Shut up and play Thompson.” Hysterical!) , but not much more.

Divac and Miller
One playerd here six seasons, while the other was here for five and a half.
Player A – 13.2 pts., 7.8 rebs., 1.2 blks., 3.7 asts.
Player B – 13.3 pts., 8.6 rebs., 0.9 blks., 3.1 asts.
The question – Is a healthy Chris Webber the difference between having your jersey hung in the rafters as opposed to being known as a whiny bitch? Or is it that Player A stirred the pot, while Player B smoked it?
Whatever the reason, it’s time to root for Kevin Martin. Because without him, Kenny Thomas is our longest tenured King.

Well in Divac's defense
He didn’t pout like Miller, he gave the team leadership, and he just so much more crafty offensively as well as defensively.
Of course, it also helps that Divac was ultimately a much more “lovable” person.

He didn't pout
but people were always bitching about his flopping, even Kings fans. Personally I thought it was a great strategy.

And yes rooting for Speed Racer is the answer
I agree there.

One difference in all the Sameity (is that a word?)
Brad scored 90% of his points on 15+ footers and layups while Vlade scored roughly half his points in the post. The Kings need a center that can play some post. Hey! We have Spencer. Natt needs to let him get more minutes down in the post than he’s been getting. Same with JT.

Thanks Brad
I will not miss the whining and softness but I will miss the sweet jumpers and amazing passes you delivered. You were part of the last good team the Kings had and I appreciate you as a player for that.
It was time to go big man. Good luck

Well Brad So Long Sack of Dung !!
Thanks for the memories. Disliked the trade that brought you to Sactown, and I am glad you have moved on to be a defensive liability on some other team. Now this gives Hawes a chance to really hone his game and become the quality center this team needs in the future. I heard in one interview that Hawes said many of the things he learned from Brad would remain with him the rest of his NBA Career. My Advice, Forget anything Brad Miller said COMPLETELY and find a winner to model your game after.
And NO Brad, we wont be hanging your jersey in the rafters…Unless they are using it to plug a hole in the decrepit ceiling…
As for John Salmons, I will certainly miss his game. He played hard every night. And even though his jumper was really inconsistent, he always gave effort defensively. It was too bad Salmons wasn’t able to improve his shooting more, because if he ever consistently hits his outside jumper, he will be really tough to guard. He just was too predictable driving the lane and turning the ball over when his shot wasn’t falling.
I hope on the other hand that Garcia gets a lot more playing time. Garcia has shown flashes of greatness, and he has gotten better defensively every year. He still needs to improve, but he really is a pretty good 2 guard who can play PG when needed. His three point shot has gotten deadly, and he is quick enough to get a shot off when he needs to.
I have cut the Mouth and Nose out of my Paper Bag, but I am contemplating not cutting out any EYE HOLES so I don't have to watch this mess at all...

Peace man.
You were the first Kings jersey I ever owned despite following this team for as long as I have. You gave this town plenty of good memories and I’ll try to remember you for those moments and not how you left us. I sincerely hope you tear it up in Chi-Town and I’ll wear my jersey and drink a beer tonight in your honor.
Good for the franchise though it may be, it’s always hard for me to see those core pieces of past success move on.

If Brad went out at the top of his game
I would totally agree with you. (I would have also expected more in return if the Kings were to trade him.)

Screw all of you that are cursing Brad Miller.
Seriously. The guy has every right to be sad about missing Sacramento. It’s a great place with great people. It’d be even better if people like you didn’t make him feel like he didn’t belong. I’m a human being first and a Kings fan second.
Brad, I’m going to miss you. If you ever want to go out for a non-alcoholic beverage and I’m in town, it’s on me.
