ESPN: Amare to the Kings on Draft Day?
"Keep your eye on Sacramento closer to the draft, especially if the Suns decide to put Amare Stoudemire back on the market.
Outside of Memphis' Rudy Gay, Sacramento had the pieces Phoenix wanted most when the Suns still were open to dealing Stoudemire.
The Kings ultimately were unwilling to part with a combination of expiring contracts, rookie forward Jason Thompson and their No. 1 pick in the June draft -- which could well end up being the No. 1 overall pick in the draft -- for Stoudemire."

Does it come with an insurance policy?
Unfortunately for Amar’e he has had microfracture knee surgery, a summer eye injury followed by a retinal detachment in the same eye. He now has two (2) areas of constant career threatening injury. One is too many for a controversial player with one year before free agency. The guy is a bigger, stronger version of Crash Wallace. NO thanks.

And we still aren't!
The Kings ultimately were unwilling to part with … Jason Thompson and their No. 1 pick…

NO NO NO NO!!
No way we give them both JT and out number 1 pick. I think we moved to the right direction at the deadline, let’s not morgage our future now.

Might have asked for JT and our first round pick. But that doesn’t mean Petrie actually considered it for a moment.
Unless he was sniffing glue.

If we get #1
and Griffin is 6’10’’ and as athletic as he seems, no way we give him up. And, we can get more for JT. Maybe, trade for Washingtons 1st pick. Maybe, trade for Sessions & swap Houstons pick with Bucks 1st pick. Maybe, trade for any top 5 pick & a player. Why trade for a guy that’s injury prone and going to want a Max contract.

I'd rather
use the cap space and perhaps steal the #2 pick from the Wizards by taking on their bloated contracts like Etan Thomas.
Imagine: Rubio, Martin, Nocioni (for now), Griffin, Thompson.
That’s a really nice core of players to really get excited about.
BOOK IT!
Actually
Sub Nocioni for Doratio.
BOOK IT!
that sounds good to me...
