I was just catching up on my basketball reading and came across this post from Tim Kawakami @ the SJMerc News stating that our fears of the Kings relocating to San Jose are far from a done deal.

As far as what Kawakami said, he just made another point why the Maloof’s will do everything in their power to keep the Kings in Sacramento. And they have 3 reasons: the 300 million dollar re-location fee, the 70 million dollar loan to the city of Sacramento, and the fact that if they move the KIngs their best option will be Seattle. I’m not sure they will want to do that (even though it would work for them financially).
