The video of

Yoda teaching Donte brought a huge smile to my face.

Some things

Jerry likes TZ? Ruh Roh.

I don’t like Will Solomon. I don’t care if he lasts longer than Cher. Nothing will change my mind on that guy.

We’ve sounded off about Shock & Hawes. I’m not going to bother.

McCants time with the team is going to be interesting particularly as he hasn’t performed at the same level he did when he first got here. I’m interested to see what happens from here on out.

Jerry is consistently consistent with his points toward Donte. I agree that Donte is the type of player with the potential to burn bigger players outside and smaller players inside. Can he? Yeah, we don’t know that answer yet. We’ll see what happens from here.

I agree

with your assesments.

I dislike Solomon.. at heart he’s a chucker and we definitely don’t need that at the point position. I’ll support him his whole time as a King, but I’ll never like his game.

I noticed that same thing about McCants. His rookie season he looked really good and he played good defense, but after that it looked like he just didn’t care as much. He is very talented, I’ll give him that, but until he can consistently keep up the effort and prove it, I see little reason why he should be a King next season. That’s my stance on him, at least.

I think the better argument in the long term is

Does McCants really provide something valuable if Beno is still here and and the Kings draft Ricky Rubio? (I"m not saying the Kings are going to draft Rubio. I’m stating what happens to McCants if that scenario happens.)

Well

McCants is a better scorer than either Rubio or Udrih, but he’s mainly a one-dimensional player (scorer), which we basically have in Speedracer (don’t argue that, my point has nothing to do with that). Therefore, I think that if Rashad can consistently play defense as well as be an offensive spark plug, then he could potentially provide as a wing player that works well on both sides of the floor.

The thing is, if we happened to draft someone else besides Rubio and we then pick up someone like a smaller scoring perimeter player like Stephen Curry, then Rashad McCants serves no specific purpose on the Kings besides being a superfluous talent.

"Superfluous talent"

Now there’s a phrase that has not been often linked to this roster.

You know you're stupid

When you have to look up superfluous.

It's probably just one of those extra

needless words that are only useful if you’re trying to be extravagant with your language.

Don't hate...

…appreciate.

Wow that’s corny. If you wanted to know what it means, it’s unneeded or more than sufficient, if that makes sense.

Hah

guess you didn’t get my joke.

I said superfluous was probably a “superfluous” word. You know extra, needless, extravagant. Oh, well. Section 214 I’m not.

Very cool.

Pretty honest from Jerry

on his assessments of Shock and Hawes. I agree with the subtext that the Jury is still out on whether they are a starting front-line of the future. To be a Championship caliber team in the future one of those positions has to be at an All-Star level.
The draft choices made and another year should tell where the organization thinks thier ceiling is.

So imitate the action of the tiger!.
- lend the eye a terrible aspect,
- and teach them how to war!
