This has been a Jeff Teague public service announcement. This is only a test.

Brings up an interesting point...

And one that may already have been made. Maybe this is one of those drafts, like 2005, where having the third or fourth pick is actually beneficial. It prevents you from weighing the intangible of guys like Bogut and Marvin Williams and allows you to focus on the tangibles of guys like Paul and Derron Williams. Not a great insight I know but one to think about with kids like Teague.

he sucks

:)

So imitate the action of the tiger!
Stiffen the sinews, summon up the blood,
Disguise fair nature with hard-favoured rage.
- lend the eye a terrible aspect,

Now set the teeth - and teach them how to war!

I don't know about this Teague kid

Wasn’t there a trampoline around before he did that? Goodness gracious.

No mistakes in the tango, darling. Not like life. Simple. That's what makes the tango so great. If you make a mistake, and get all tangled up, you just tango on.....

I am the stone that builder refused..I am the visual...The inspiration..That made lady sing the blues....I'm the spark that makes your idea bright.....The same spark that lights the dark....So that you can know your left from your right...I am the ballot in your box....The bullet in your gun...The inner glow that lets you know...To call your brother son....The story that just begun...The promise of what's to come...And I'm 'a remain a soldier till the war is won....

Not a joke

I really thought he should have passed it having a big-man completely alone under the basket… Nevertheless, very impressive (and not a bad decision in the end)

Gerald meets Gilbert

Wild finisher with a great first step and the ability to create for others? Sign me up. Any chance he is falling to the Houston pick?

Ha yeah right

He’s a top 5 pick at worst right now.

So is he our Rubio fallback?

If we don’t end up with #1 of course.

Hell no

If we want Teague, we trade down for him. Don’t waste a good pick on him.

I'd trade down if possible

But I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s top 3 by the time the tournament is over.

I want Ricky Rubio

And I won’t be apologetic about it either.

Me Too

That is why I hope we get the #2 pick!

I think Teague=Nate Robinson

This kid is super athletic, but I don’t think he’s going to be a superstar.

by CloudyEyes on Mar 4, 2009 12:44 PM PST reply actions   0 recs

Robinson is listed at 5'9

Teague is listed at 6’2. I wouldn’t be surprised if Teague was 6 foot without shoes.

but he is 6'4" in four inch heels

dude can fly no matter the height. Seth Davis compares him to Monta Ellis – before the moped.

hahaha

Not sure Monta Jr is what the kings are missing.

My scenario list, starting from best-case

1a. Draft Griffin with #1, get Collison with HOU pick
1b. Draft Griffin with #1, trade to OKC or GSW for Teague, picking up Jeff Green or Anthony Randolph in the process. Draft BPA with HOU pick.
2a. Draft Rubio with #2, hope for the best.
2b. Draft Harden with #2 (if Rubio doesn’t declare), trade down while picking up a young experienced PG (Calderon? I may be crazy, but there’s talk on RealGM… Conley? Sessions?) and drafting a big man (Monroe or Thabeet).
3. Draft Teague at #3.
4. Draft Thabeet at #4
5. Draft Monroe at #5.
6. Hopefully we don’t get to 6

I can totally see Petrie taking Collison

for the first senior taken off the board again.. ..

with the 20 something pick.

Wow.
