speed vs power

I agree that the game looks like UConn’s to lose though.

yup

they are playing well, and really hard, but if they don’t make some 3s, its going to be rough.

That being said, UConn is doing a crappy job on offense the last few minutes.

Tyreke Evans is a player I’d want the Kings to consider regardless of how good Ricky Rubio is.

Stanley Robinson has lottery talent

But personal problems are another reason he probably hasn’t jumped by now. On the other hand, you stinky Korean, your point about lottery talent is probably why the NBA will push the age limit to be 20 or 2 years of college if you’re an American.

I wouldn’t mind taking Tyler Harnsbrough with our second rounder. I would even consider using the Rox pick, if it fell to the 25th to 27th pick. Every team needs an energy big off the bench who’s not afraid to get dirty and annoy people

I'd be for a risk with the 2nd rounder

go with a project or an athletic 2-3, whoever could be very good.

Pretty clear we need a solid starter with our 1st pick and we need at least a rotation guy with the Rocket’s pick though.

athletic 2-3

by misterbrister on Apr 4, 2009 9:09 PM PDT up reply actions

I saw a post on another site

in which a guy who sounds like he knows a lot more about NCAA players than I do advocated for Terrence Williams. He sounds like the kind of 2-3 you’re looking for. However, they say that early in the year he was expected to go in the late first round, but he’s been rising lately, so if we want him, we’d probably need to use the Rocket’s pick for him (if he’s still on the board at that point). That would mean using our second best pick for a player that doesn’t fit one of our top two needs.

Have any of the rest of you seen him enough to have strong opinions?

At the bottom end of the draft

You’re much better off drafting best player available anyway. What that means, though, I’m not quite sure.

I love his command of the game, intelligence, his shot goes in.

He seems awfully small, not particularly athletic, and I’d worry about whether he can shoot like he does in the pros. His release seems very deliberate.

Thabeet had a pretty good game, 17 pts

Blocked out for a lot of Adrian’s rebounds too

Certainly has some things to work on – but who doesn’t?

Shut down Suton when he was in..

(did all/most of his damage when Thaeet was on the bench)
