Poll: Bavetta working Lakers v Rockets Game 7: Does Stern take any chances?
Given latest Lakers flop in Game 6, does Stern pull out his wildcard to ensure his dream Finals matchup of "Lakers v Lakers" ?
Or would this be opening himself up to more criticism (not that he pays any attention to it)?
It begs the question: when Bavetta hangs up his sneakers, who is next in line to be Stern's "x-factor"? Joey Crawford?
How I see it playing out: Scola picks up 2 quick fouls in first 4min of game. Artest also gets 2 cheap ones in first 8min of game. And within the last 2min of a close game, Battier's nose is called for a reach-in foul on Kobe's elbow.
Adelman will fall down from the remarkableness of the deja vu.
