Around SBN: Bracketology 2012: Duke Finally Steps Up To The No. 1 Line

Two years ago on May 8, I complained at how many candidates were connected to the open Kings job. A few days ago, I complained the Kings only interviewed two guys so far. Thanks for the reminder, Jake.

(But seriously, interview Thibodeau! Line up Rambis!)

Richard Cheese, lol

I should be offended, right? I mean, I change lyrics. Cheese takes the same lyrics and changes the music. If anything I’m the Weird Al

You are correct

I was thinking “whose the idiot that changes the songs?” And I didn’t think of Weird Al simply because he played a tremendous part in shaping my musical tastes when I was much younger. He was always a serious artist to me.

That list had me cracking up. If only we could sign Jesus, but I think he’d cost too much.

Reading it again

That was a great list. Imagine how great the last two seasons would have been with Captain America, Sam Malone, or Encyclopedia Brown at the helm!

I clearly ...

… ignored that Cap was killed two months prior to the list’s formation. Sniff.

Still might have been preferable.

Better coach

The ghost of Captain America or Kenny Natt?

Discuss amongst yourselves.

Wait I got another one

what are the chances that Jerry Bruckheimer hires Michael Bay to remake Weekend at Bernies with the dead Coach Captain America as Bernie

then Weekend at Bernie’s 2 will involve him getting an extension for the Kings’ 20 win improvement over the Natt/Theus era

Me: Well, you know Kenny Natt is alive.
Other Me: But is he really? He spent most of his time on the sidelines slumped over.
Me: But Captain America doesn’t wear the same colors on the Kings. He’d be constantly clashing!
Other Me: Yeah, but D-E-F-E-N-S-E – the man wears a shield, you don’t think he’ll stop the ball
Third Me: I’m going to have to go with other me on this one. I think Cap’n would understand how to substitute players. He’s too patriotic to play Kenny Thomas.
Other Me: Word.
Original Me: It’s getting crowded in here.
