Admittedly, no one expected and certainly no one wanted the #4 pick, but here's my take on which team gets who in the top three:
1. Blake Griffin (almost a virtual lock)
2. Ricky Rubio (likely) and here's why: the Grizzlies have a history of picking Spanish players (Gasol and Gasol) and are also sorely in need of a point guard.
3. Hasheem Thabeet (This could go in an entirely different direction, but OKC needs a center.)
This leaves a number of players that the kings can select at number 4. harden, derozan, jennings, hill, etc. The Kings have definite needs at point guard, and people don't realize that Francisco Garcia should probably not be starting at small forward. So given the Kings' needs at the 1 & the 3 spot, pick #4 will probably be either of two players:
4. Brandon Jennings (PG)/ James Harden(SF)
That's why I think the Kings are still in good position at # 4. Rubio will probably be gone, but I believe that whoever we get, Jennings, Harden, or someone entirely different, the Kings should benefit.
