I want Thibodeau over any of the other candidates. There is no silver bullet for our defensive woes, but having a guy who has been a big part of building so many top defensive teams is huge. He has been an assistant a long time with a lot of experience, and has been under a number of good Head Coaches.

He still could end up being a poor Head Coach, but I will take a chance on him any day over the mediocre “experienced” options .He got a lot of players to buy into his philosophy and his defensive schemes, including guys like Pierce that people said would never give effort on that side of the ball.
