DraftExpress's Jason Givony on Rubio situation.

Very interesting interview by Fox Sports Geoff and Gary regarding Rubio, Memphis and the Kings as a first option. Givony seems to have a mole in the Grizz front office but his Kings speculation is exactly that from what I can disseminate.

Sounds like it will be very tough for Kings to get Rubio

Memphis needs his star power just as much as the Kings do. Memphis will really have to sell themselves to Rubio though. It won’t be an easy sell though because of how Memphis handled Gasol and the fact that they have Conley Jr. at the point already. Also, the market in Memphis won’t lead to as many endorsements or shoe sales. I think that more then anything could be the deciding factor… Shoe sales. This market has more draw to it then Memphis or Oaklahoma because internationally the Kings are known throught the world thanks to Divac, Peja and Hedo.

I sure hope that Rubio has his heart set on LA or Sacramento because if he does he has the leverage to make it happen. I think as the draft gets closer were going to start hearing more talk from his agent about wether or not he truely wants to be a King.
