It just dawned on me that we really haven't discussed the possibility of getting the top two picks, and then having Petrie go with someone other than Griffin/Rubio.

It wouldn't suprise me at all if he actually liked someone else better than either of these two. My guess would be Tyreke Evans. I am bettng that he would trade down if he liked Tyreke and we got the number #1 pick, but what if we got the #2, and he didn't take Rubio. This board would, once again, go completely bananas.

I realize with a top four pick, there tends to be less surprises; however, Petrie almost always seems to pick someone that, at least initially, disappoints a large amount of the constituents here at STR.

I'm not saying it will happen, but it wouldn't surprise me if it did.
