Hansbrough wants to disprove doubts
I really don't mind drafting guys with a chip on their shoulders.
"Tyler Hansbrough doesn't care where he is drafted next month, and feels he has a lot of doubters to prove wrong.
"Doubt me all you want, but I think I have a lot to prove," Hansbrough told the Associated Press.
He averaged 20.3 points and 8.6 rebounds in his career at North Carolina, and many have projected him a middle first-round pick.
"I'm not worried about it," Hansbrough said. "It's just a bunch of people saying whatever they want. I think I'll prove a lot of people wrong.
"They kind of doubted me in high school and said I wouldn't be a good college player. I'll bet a lot of people wouldn't have thought I would have wound up being the ACC all-time leading scorer. They can doubt me or whatever, but I got the job done and won a national championship."

I wouldn't mind getting
him at #23. At worst he’ll be a rich man’s Mark Madsen which wouldn’t be a bad thing having a back up with tremendous energy and hustle to spell Shock and Hawes.

I would absolutely love to draft Tyler Hansbrough with the 23 pick.
He would be fantastic bench player/possible future starter. I would compare him more with Hedo Turkoglu than Mark Madsen though.

Yeah definitely
The 3 point shoot is definitely there. I think he needs to take the ball to the basket and find his teammates a little more; bump the assists numbers up a bit you know. But the athleticism of a small forward is there. On the defensive end he’s a good matchup too. Strong enough to guard the Ron Artests of the world, but quick enough to keep up with the Trevor Arizas of the league. If he puts it all together he could be a big player in this league, no doubt…

LOL...
Gaurd Ron Artest…OK, some sarcasm noted…but i have watched him over the last couple of years and I just love the way he plays. We will see in a season or two how he transitions into the NBA.
