2009 StR Community Draft Board: Pick #14

Blake Griffin, Ricky Rubio, Brandon Jennings, Tyreke Evans, Hasheem Thabeet, Stephen Curry, Ty Lawson, James Harden, Jrue Holiday, Demar DeRozan, Jonny Flynn, Jordan Hill and Jeff Teague are off the board in the first 13 positions on our board.

Reminder: THIS IS NOT A MOCK DRAFT. This is draft board, a list with the order of prospects you'd like to see the Kings pick. In other words, if we were the Kings front office, when our pick came up, we'd take the top name left on our board. So pick your choice, not who you think Petrie or anyone else would choose in a slot.

Explain your choice in the comments, and lobby for who should be added to the next pick's choices. Poll will remain open until 8 AM PDT on Tuesday.

Patrick Mills, PG, St. Mary's

It's about time you put up another one of these

I don’t know if I could have survived without it. My entire life meaning revolves around the Draft Board TZ. (Seriously, I was like, no draft board? Cmon man!)

As far as the player goes, gotta be Blair. I’m not sure if I would rather have Hill or Blair, but I’m not sold on Thabeet either.

Meh.

Has anyone else noticed...

…that the guy in the top slot almost always get the most votes? Just sayin’.

I'll mix it up

I’ll put Hansbrough in the top slot to really see if there’s an impact.

Hmmmm

Sactown Groupthink? Or is TZ simply a wizard in his knowledge of public opinion?

Well

I do order them based on the previous round’s voting. Blair was second last time, etc …

if that was by design or by coincidence.

Blair

Would love to see him destroy Thabeet again, but now ths time in the NBA and in a Kings jersey

by eduardo_m7 on Jun 1, 2009 10:51 AM PDT reply actions

Blair.

If for God knows why he falls to 23, that would be amazing.

Can we steal him later?

Cause that would, like, make him more of a steal and stuff, right?

Haha, yeah

If he’s there @ #23 we should grab him. I’d package the #23 and #31 to trade up for him tho.

Steal

Even better: How about some other team drafts him, and then we literally steal him away and break NBA rules? I mean, what good is theft if it isn’t illegal?

Never forget: I am a complete idiot

Yes

when he goes up to shake Stern’s hand, we have JT throw a Kings jersey over his head and drag him back to Sacto.

Or we kidnap whoever hands the note to Stern

and replace it with another one having each team pick Tyler Griffin.

Best prospect available, based on the opinions and analysis of all StR members with a 2,1 and 4 in their name.

Analysis

Does the criteria for your analysis mean that they have all three numbers? Or is the analysis of members with a 2 in their name, members with a 1 in their name, and members with a 4 in their name?

God I hate grammar.

he includes and instead of or

so that means all the numbers need to be in the name. This means section is either following his own advice, or user mr west2bike1smyrig4t
