Pretty cool
Q: You also, when you were in Rome, you gave $50,000 to support the victims of the earthquake there. Why? Why did that touch you?
A: We were only 70 miles from where that earthquake hit. We felt it, we felt the hard shaking. It was about 3 a.m. It woke me up. I grew up in California, so we have had earthquakes, and I understand what people go through, to have their lives destroyed by that. So, I wanted to help however I could.
He definitely doesn't come across as a rookie...
He comes across as an extremely mature individual and I don’t think a lot of high school graduates could change there world so significantly by moving to another country. From a basketball IQ perspective the constant practice at defending the pick and roll will serve him well wherever he ends up playing in the NBA.

I agree
Pookey’s been saying it for a long time, and I wasn’t sure one way or the other…but everything I’ve seen indicates a young man with a pretty good head on his shoulders.
As far as the pick and roll goes, that was a pet peeve of many of us with the Kings last year. Even late in the season, they looked completely clueless on defending that play (a certain game against Chris Paul comes to mind).
I'm getting real tired of that earthquake thing
It’s getting regurgitated to death.

No mistakes in the tango, darling. Not like life. Simple. That's what makes the tango so great. If you make a mistake, and get all tangled up, you just tango on.....
Let's just say that I've grown to believe that Jennings is the guy the Kings should draft because he's adept at running the pick & roll
Which is like Rubio, only Jennings is more athletic and has more upside in that area. My belief before really looking into Jennings was how raw he was as a basketball player which gave Rubio a significant advantage.
The truth is, given that Jennings will work out to earn his spot, I think he’s the better bet because he’s really been tested. I don’t think Rubio is the safe bet anymore. Too bad too.

Yep, good stuff
interesting, when put next to the Post workout interview. Guess you have to take the good with the bad when you are dealing with a 19 year old.
