2009 StR Community Draft Board: Pick #23
Blake Griffin, Ricky Rubio, Brandon Jennings, Tyreke Evans, Hasheem Thabeet, Stephen Curry, Ty Lawson, James Harden, Jrue Holiday, Demar DeRozan, Jonny Flynn, Jordan Hill, Jeff Teague, DeJuan Blair, Earl Clark, Eric Maynor, Terrence Williams, B.J. Mullens, Tyler Hansbrough James Johnson, Patrick Mills and Omri Casspi are off the board in the first 22 positions on our board.
Reminder: THIS IS NOT A MOCK DRAFT. This is draft board, a list with the order of prospects you'd like to see the Kings pick. In other words, if we were the Kings front office, when our pick came up, we'd take the top name left on our board. So pick your choice, not who you think Petrie or anyone else would choose in a slot.
Explain your choice in the comments, and lobby for who should be added to the next pick's choices. Poll will remain open until 8 AM PDT on Sunday.

I Googled "Henderson signs" and this came up -
That’s good enough for me – vote Henderson!

And 1 -
Henderson is the only guy left on our board that has lottery potential. He was the best player at a big time school that had a pretty good year. This is a guy that looks like he’s interested in playing baseline to baseline.
He’s not sexy (sorry, Ailene), and we’ve got players at his position. But he is (IMO) the best player available.

With
Going Henderson until I get him off the board. He’s projected on the 10s on many draft boards so I gotta listen to the ‘experts’
I voted Lawal
Even though the Black Haired vixen is enough for me.

Was going to vote for Young
but ended up voting for Lawal. I think he’s a guy in serious consideration at the 23 pick. Is he scheduled to workout at Sactown?
Father of the "Natt this!" movement.
He ...
is working out today, I believe. They also saw him in Oakland and interviewed him in Chicago.
I thought they worked him out already
Nevermind, I think I’m thinking of someone else. But, I don’t think so. I’ll try to find more.

Nevermind
I was thinking of the combine, and I was probably confusing seeing him in Oakland for something else. My bad.

Lawal is the second coming of Jason Maxiell
But I am not saying whether thats a good thing or a bad thing. I think best case senario he turns into a better version of Paul Millsap, but I don’t see it happening.
I hope people read what I have to say now that I shortened my sig. It should be a bigger crime drafting Patty Mills ahead of Henderson, but thats just me.
"Because they don't have four pointers."
- Antoine Walker, on why he shoots so many three pointers
Your sig is much more reasonable
And I say this having a very long sig myself.

Funny
Had no clue it was the same guy, until the last line of course. Yes, much better now.
Maxiell is an interesting comparison, and I agree about Mills ahead of Henderson.
